He stays in my arms all night.
I feel the mental clock ticking.
Once the sun comes out, he will leave and this will be over.
I mean this is what I wanted. This is what I asked for. I asked for a night, beau gave me a night. The night is almost over and as time passes by, my heart throbs in my chest. I don't think I am ready to let him go. It will be selfish if I ask for one more day. I want more time with him—even though I don't deserve it. Asking for more time will just prove that nothing has changed.
I killed so many people, this is my punishment. Maybe all along it was mapped out. This was always how it was meant to end.
