Bald Power
In an alternate world similar to ours, a mysterious energy which permeates the entire universe and can be harnessed by living beings is plainly called ‘mana’.
The only way to control this power is if you have hair! The potential of humans is determined by the length of their hair, and the path they will achieve in life is determined by which physical or mental attribute they learn towards.
However, the hair of any human will stop beyond the age of twenty-five for unknown reasons. As for why? Nobody knows, but beyond this age limit, it is impossible for hair to grow any further. Going bald is the equivalent of losing the ability to control mana. Cutting any hair will cause it to eventually grow back to its final length.
Humans with the longest hair are the strongest in the world in terms of what their attribute leans to (e.g. strength, agility, intelligence, dexterity, vitality, etc.). Those with average hair lengths beyond twenty-five are destined to live commoner lives with no escape.
The young who grow their hair the fastest before twenty-five are considered to be the most talented of their generation who are funded the most resources. Unfortunately, the lives of most of these talents are controlled by most governments, forced to serve the parts of society they are best suited for regardless of their dreams.

Evan Wright is a very young adult who likes to read books, does not have any friends, and tries to live a peaceful life. However, he is far from ordinary. In fact, he is actually bald!
Such a condition is rare for his age, which is why he is well-known in his school. Yet at the same time, people avoid him like the plague and others tried to bully him.
This starts to change upon the transfer of a new student to his school.

My upload schedule is entirely dependent on my free time outside college, homework, and being in the mood to upload.
Please bear in mind that my schedule will likely get more busy since it's still early on in the semester and I do not have much homework at the moment.
