651. Get Jael
Mauve was sleeping by the time Jael took her out of the tub. He dried her off and then placed her on the bed before attending to himself and joining her. She felt his naked body against hers and tried to scold him, but she was too sleepy to.
"Don't worry," he said, kissing the top of her head. "Just get some sleep. I know better than to push you past your limit."
She smiled and partially opened her eyes before closing them again. She was asleep in seconds. Mauve couldn't clearly remember what she dreamed about as she slept. It felt as though she was running in a field of flowers, she wasn't alone but for the life of her she couldn't remember who else was there.
She woke up with a jerk. The first thing she noticed was Mill staring down at her, and the second thing was that she was alone. Jael wasn't next to her or anywhere in the room. Mauve frowned slightly as she looked around.
