1. Ha...that’s funny!!!

That brain of mine started to work

several thoughts running amok.

A simple image was just enough

to make me start to huff and puff.

.

I cracked a smile

did not know why.

It'd been a while

since that last bye.

.

My mind was playing dirty tricks

and felt like under a ton of bricks.

Or was it just my own impression

my head in need of decompression?

.

There was no stimulus, no reason

all these reflections, right out of season.

It was no time for funny games

for wasting time, exotic names.

.

And still one image remained stuck

said to myself, hey...best of luck!

But my heartbeat was now erratic

despite the efforts to be pragmatic.

.

Just like the thoughts had once appeared

they faded-out, it felt so weird.

The image now, all but dissolved

the smile was there...but I'd evolved?
