Chapter 5 - The Victor

Jay had a very intense, vicious smile on his face as he looked at his son. 'This son of mine, who isn't even in his prime yet, is already stronger than me when I was his age. How truly exciting!'

After that internal dialog, Jay charged Rond and with a quick down slash, clashed with Rond's sword. Even though Jay's sword was three feet long and weighed around two hundred pounds, he was able to quickly do another sideways slash, in a split second, crashing right on Rond's chest piece, cracking some of his ribs.

'How is he able to move like that and with his heavy-ass sword!' Rond cursed internally. 'Well, I'm glad I have this armor, or else I would've been cut in half already, he really is a demon beyond human abilities..'

Rond looked at his chest piece and saw it has cracked and the left side, which was hit, was ready to break, 'Welp, Looks like I can't do what he does and take direct hits. I wanted to impress him a bit, but it seems I'll die trying. Time to show him I'm just as capable!' As he looked back up, he saw his father with his signature smile, and unconsciously started to copy it without noticing.

When Jay saw his son make his own slightly vicious smile, He couldn't help but make his wider. Finally, Rond stood up again and began to charge Jay and clashed swords once more. While they were face to face, both started to smile even wider and more viciously, then Rond kicked his father right in the sternum, causing Jay to slide back a few feet and cough a bit. That allowed Rond to do a quick jump and down slash on Jay.

Jay, without missing a beat, countered the slash with a one-handed, up, and side slashes knocking Rond's slash and momentum away from him. Then again Jay quickly did another, split-second, one-handed, side slash right on Rond's back without him touching the ground. Rond getting hit with a powerful slash caused him to get the wind knocked out of him and more ribs to crack this time puncturing his right lung and making him cough some blood all while slamming into the ground.

Rond couldn't help but understand why his father, Jay, was given the title, Unbeatable Demon. 'So I guess this was really fucking dumb, huh?' He couldn't help but smile like his father more in this situation, 'No wonder I'm his son, I want this. No, need this battle!' His smile grew and his battle and blood lust grew. When Jay felt this he had the biggest, widest, and most vicious smile yet.

"It seems that the warm-up is done, my child, shall we begin with the final bout?" Rond looked at his father's smile and felt strange. It wasn't like he ever hated him nor disliked him. He was compared to a being beyond human standards that took over the world because he was bored. He felt a warm fatherly love coming from that smile. Though he didn't know if it was imagined or real he enjoyed it.

"Of course I am, father, let us begin." With his choice made, there was no going back. The final stretch was upon them.

Jay and Rond looked at each other and prepared themselves, this was going to be close to or be the last exchange, so with their wide, vicious smiles they dashed toward each other. Jay prepared a move he created for when he meets his greatest opponent "Blood-Powered Swing" this move was one of his many powered and strongest moves. Using it caused Jay to twist and pull his already incredible, but weird, muscle structure.

Rond prepared his move as well, a move dedicated to the person he looked up to "Bloody Down slash" this move made his ribs crack, even more, pulling most of his chest, and bicep muscles.

Although they both could see their opponent's moves they had no intention to move nor could they dodge it. They chose to experience their opponent's strongest moves.

Jay was prepared, but before the clash, he noticed a detail that everyone knew about him. The world seemed to not assist him in the clash, but his own son! This made Jay surprised for a split second, but he shook off the little surprising fact and wore a wider smile.

'The world has chosen to give its strength to a new suitor it seems. Well, not like that's going to stop me from having fun and taking it back for myself!'

Jay seemed to gain a big boost in those quick seconds, as he stole the world's strength back for himself! His existence was brimming as the world understood he was the one to have its strength. With both Jay and Rond having the world helping in their attacks, things were going to be messy.

Both attacks finally arrived, Jay was hit on his left shoulder, while Rond was hit in the ribs again. Jay felt his entire left shoulder snap and destroy some muscle along with a few blood vessels. Rond felt the entirety of his chest cave in.

They both fell, as shock hit them along with being blown a few feet from each other. After a few minutes Jay finally stood up, he couldn't feel the entirety of his left side at that point, 'incredible! To think my son, with all my greatest attributes, would also have the world backing him! He really is my son,' Jay laughed thinking this.

Jay looked toward his son ready to go for some more. When he turned though, he felt his heart destroyed and his excitement vanish before his eyes. Jay's arm never got sliced off because of his incredible body and armor. That being said, Rond's armor was great, but it wasn't Jay's. Jay saw his son's left ribs punctured his left and right lung completely and you could see inside of him a tiny bit.

Jay knew from his extensive knowledge his son wouldn't make it, this was his end. Though Rond knew this as well, his smile never left, "Father, you don't look good without your smile, you know," He chuckled to himself, "It seems you really do have deep feelings for your children, well, family overall. I wished I knew this long ago." His smile was there still, however, he held both happiness and sadness in it.

Jay had no words, he has killed many of his children and others. Still, he always hid how he felt because he couldn't understand anything other than because he wanted a battle that he couldn't win. His fight with Rond showed him what he has always felt, 'I have explored and conquered both the sea and most of our universe. I have seen so many battles and learned many things, other than battle techniques. I became the wisest and most intelligent I could, yet, I still continue to learn,' Jay sighed internally.

Rond spoke up in the deafening silence, "Father, I think we should do one more attack with our fists. I wanted to see the technique you developed with that strange power you've always had."

Jay couldn't help but smile at those words, 'A true battle hungry crazy, just like me.' He thought eternally with a calm smile becoming bigger.

Jay knew the move his son was talking about, of course, Jay, since he was born always moved forward and was able to do something most humans couldn't ever do. He gained full control of his consciousness, meaning he was able to control his brain at will! With this, he did many different experiments on himself and got close to dying plenty of times because of them.

He was able to control his heartbeat and flow of blood, he was even able to force adrenaline rushes at will. The things he could do were semi-limitless, this led to a move he called "Blood Rush" which allowed him to force his already irregular heartbeat to pump faster and rush blood throughout the body. Though after this move he'd be very weak since many blood cells would die off and he would have to recover them. It was still a very powerful move, allowing him to punch harder, faster, more precise, and more!

This move was very rewarding and risky if he used it against someone strong. He can use it up to four times before fainting from too much blood loss. The most he ever used it was twice when facing the old Russian leader in the armor suit back in the Demonic War.

Rond finally stood up and prepared himself for a final fist clash as Jay walked over to him. Jay stopped five feet in front of his son and the world seemed to struggle with who to help, the world eventually chose both of them and that started the battle immediately. Jay's brown-reddish eyes turned to a darker shade of red showing that he had blood rushing threw out his body at an insane pace. Rond responded with his body tightening up and his muscles bulging.

Then he swung only to immediately be countered with seven punches in a second. Jay hit seven vital points on Rond's body in such a precise manner as if he could slow time, though that wasn't the case, it definitely seemed it. Jay's knowledge of the human body beat many experts and allowed him to exploit his many foes.

Rond could only hope his body could resist and block until Jay's power-up ended. That, of course, resulted in thirteen more punches hitting many same and different vital points in the time he went to block.

This continued for what seemed like ages. Until finally, Jay's Blood Rush ended. Rond dropped to his knees leaving him in the open for many attacks. Jay didn't attack, he had the ability to even with the sense of weakness over him, but he didn't, "Well father," Rond coughed up a lot of blood making him hard to understand, Jay understood though, "I think it's time for me to be on my way and see what I'll have in a different life," Rond smiled a bright, but dark-red, smile from the blood.

Jay smiled a very painful smile as he looked at his son. He knew what needed to happen, after all, he was his son. "You were a great fight, my son... I hope you have a great life beyond this. I... I'm proud of where and what you came to be and how you were able to reach this point," Jay smiled a helpless smile at that point as he picked up his sword.

When the world and Rond heard those words, the universe seemed to pause in disbelief. Then before anyone recovered Rond chuckled and sighed, "I have been blessed to have been the son of someone who made the gods quake at the thought of his name. Father, you are a man with little equals, I hope to battle you in another life. I love you father," Those words struck Jay and the universe deeply. Jay, although unable to cry, had water form in his eyes for the second time in his life.

"I hope for the same thing my son, may you live an eternal and powerful life, goodbye, my greatest son," Jay swung sideways as they looked at each other. Rond saw Jay's watered eyes and felt as if he won a battle deeper than fists and swords. He won the truest and purest part of his father's love. Even the world didn't see his watered eyes nor the universe nor the gods. No one could claim to make the great Unbeatable Demon have watered eyes.

As Jay finished with the swing, he smiled a helpless, but vicious smile, "You better meet me in our next life and give me a worthy battle you incredible brat," He couldn't help but wish for that. As soon as he said those words he collapsed, and as he did, two of his demonic generals came in bearing the demon titles, "The Helpless Demon" and "The Unstable Demon," These two were some of the strongest of his demonic generals. Although Jay was collapsed and on the verge of fainting, a few words came out, "Build my son a tomb worthy of his existence, lay him in it, and make his name known along with his title," Jay spoke with an intense, deep tone, "The Climbing Demon."

Surprise filled the universe again, but it recovered faster than before and understanding behind the title. A weird sensation of gratitude and acceptance came from Rond's direction. After the surprise and weird sensation, he fainted. However, many in the world felt differently about what Jay said, his sons and daughters didn't like the fact that his one son got all the attention from their father.

---Present, around 20 years later---

Jay finally came back to reality as he remembered his greatest battle and took a sip from his wine and had a sense of weakening overcome him, "Well then, I guess you should come out now after waiting for so long," he said with a vicious smile appearing on his young looking old face.

Author's note:

Sorry, for taking so long, I was really unmotivated for a while. I'll try to make up for it, but I'm bad at keeping promises like this.
