CHAPTER 3

Lucresia's Point of View

1 year later...

My grade 11 life has been stressful year of mine. I have a lot of responsibilities for being an SBO President.

Most of the students say I'm abusive leader. They don't know what they're talking about. I'm just concerned of their life so I used my power in order for them to follow.

I'm a strict leader. A strict bitch President and I don't care to their criticism.

In the present year, we're already a grade 12 student. Time flies so fast.

I will run again as SBO President to correct my other mistakes I have done before.

"You can't file certificate of candidacy since you're the current SBO President" Said Mr. Gregorie, the principal.

"I don't care! We have rights to run again whenever we want" I said and he sighed.

"That's not right. You did a lot of horrible things in the past and we can't let you do the same this time" He responded. Kumulo ang ulo ko at napa-irap sa kaniya. This old guy sucks so much.

"That's the reason why I will run again to correct my mistakes and continue my platforms! You know what, I can tell to my dad to withdraw his assets in this school. I can talk to the owner also" Pananakot sa kaniya. Nanlaki naman ang mga niya at napa-isip. Since my dad is business minded person, he's one of the stockholders of this school and we can withdraw it whenever we want.

"That's not fair! Let other students to be a leader again!" The principal responded.

"Okay! I'll talk to him!" lumabas na ako ng principal office. Hindi ko naman siya kakausapin since alam kong mauuto ko itong si Mr. Gregorie.

Nakita kong nag-aantay si Joe sa labas at nilapitan ako nito.

"How was it?" He asked.

"I threaten him"

"But why???"

"He didn't allow me to run again" I answered.

"Lu, that's enough. Just take a rest and focus more on your acads" Napa-irap na naman ako. Ito na naman kami...

"You know what, I'm expecting you to support me but you're stopping me to get what

deserved!" Sigaw ko sa kaniya at iniwan ko siya.

Nagpunta ako sa SBO Office at nasaksihan ko sila Anicia doon.

"Hey what's happening???" I asked them.

"They're removing our portraits here since election day is coming" Arsin responded.

Napatingin ako sa mga nagtatanggal ng aming portraits.

"Hey don't remove Jianna's Portrait!!!" Sigaw ko sa kanila at tumingin sila saakin.

"Utos po ito saamin ng DIA" Sagot ng isang lalaki.

"You can't remove that since Jianna will be always the SBO Administrator!!!" medyo naluluha kong sabi sa kanila. Jianna died last summer from lung cancer. It is hard for us to accept especially for Isaiah.

Hindi nila tinanggal ang portrait ni Jianna dahil sa aking paki-usap.

"So what should we do?" Tanong ni Isabella.

"Well, we will use our SBO Super Powers to win again..." I said habang nagpupunas ng aking luha. SBO Officers can run again once the president uses its superpowers and students will sign our petition.

Nagsimula na kaming gumawa ng petition at in-email namin ito sa mga students. They will sign out petition whether they like or not...

Natapos na kami sa aming 'work' at lumabas na ng SBO Office. Pupunta na kami sa aming classroom upang kunin ang gamit namin.

Actually, I really love Scout International School. We're powerful more than anyone. The students were divided into 4 categories.

Royalty – students like us. Most of the royalty students are spouse of millionaire parents. Heiress of businesses in short.

Foreign – the students who has other nationalities. They are studying here in SCOUT since this is International School. They can't displace us and vice versa. In short, wala kaming paki sa isa't-isa since they have their own world.

Normies – mga normal na tao with normal type of living. In short, middle class. They don't have family business like us. Hindi rin naman sila kahirapan ng todo.

Rags – or 'yung mga scholar dito sa aming school. Kami ang kinatatakutan nila since we're above among them. Karamihan sa kanila mga loner at busy sa pag-aaral para hindi mawala 'yung scholarship.

Papunta na kami sa room nang bigla kaming mapadaan sa Field. Nakita ko si Joe, may mga naka-paligid na babae dito.

Uminit ang ulo ko sa aking nakita. May nagpapa-picture kasi sa kaniyang babae at inakbayan niya ito.

Joe is a varsity player in our school. Magaling siya maglaro at siya pa ang captain leader ng Football Team.

Okay lang naman saakin na may nagpapa-picture sa kaniya ngunit kakaiba itong babaeng ito. Grabe makadikit sa boyfriend ko.

"Joe pwede pa-hug! Super fan po talaga ako niyooo!!!" Narining kong sabi ng babae. Aba, yakap naman ngayon?

"Sure!" Naka-ngiting sagot ni Joe kaya dali-dali ako nagpunta sa field kung nasaan sila.

"Hey bitch! Get off to my boyfriend!" Yayakapin na sana nung babae si Joe ngunit napigilan ko ito.

"Who are you?" naka-taas na kilay na saad nito. Wow, matapang ka ha?

"I'm the girlfriend of the boy you're flirting" at nginitian ko siya upang masindak ito.

"Don't you even know me?" Dagdag na tanong ko sa kaniya. Mukhang hindi niya kilala ang binabangga niya.

"Obviously no! Who are you???" Nakita kong hinihila na siya ng mga kasama niya ngunit pumapalag ito,

"I think you're one of the rags. Just leave him alone or you will face consequences?" Sabi ko sa kaniya at tuluyan na siyang hinila ng mga kasama niya.

"What's that Lu?" Naiinis na tanong saakin ni Joe.

"She's flirting you!"

"She's just a fan, Lucresia. You know what, sumosobra ka na!" Sagot nito.

"Fine. Magsama kayo" sabi ko at iniwan ko siya. Nakaka-inis. Stressed na nga ako dadagdagan pa ng boyfriend ko.

Campaign

Guess what? They allowed us to run again as SBO Officers. Power can do everything! Haha!

We're the Royalty Partylist. Siyempre mga friends ko lang ang kasama dito since we're above among them.

Nandito kami ngayon sa gymnasium to campaign. Maraming kumakalaban saamin na ibang partylist but I know they can't defeat us.

"Good Day Scout Students! We are the Royalty Partylist and we're here to serve our fellow students!" Bati ko sa mga estudyanteng nanonood saamin.

"I'm Lucresia Aguiari Zamora running for Student Bodies Organization President. I know I have done a lot of horrible things during my first term but I will promise to all of you to do my best as long as I can to serve justice and equality in this school! Alam kong nahahati tayo into four categories but it's time to unite as one and I hope you can support us since this is our last year in this school!" Siyempre dinagdagan ko ng konting paawa para naman ma-convince ko sila. As if naman magkakaroon talaga ng unity sa school na ito...

"I'm Arsin Katherine Mangubat running for Vice President. I know you love me guys, right? Why don't you re-elect me again this time? I have a lot of platforms to continue with our current SBO President. And if she won't win, I can't promise to do this with another President. Thank you guys for the support!!!" At natawa ako sa sinabi ni Arsin! That's my girl bitch!

Sumunod na tumayo si Isabella. Isabella is the most responsible and I know students will re-elect her.

"Isabella Gabriella De Leon for Secretary! No further speech 'coz I know you will vote us!!! Hands up Scout Students" Mas lalong nag-ingay ang buong gymnasium gawa ni Isabella.

"Jhay Rodriguez for SBO Legislator. Alam niyo naman ang trabaho ko diba and for sure nagustuhan niyo naman ang mga nagawa ko." To be honest, Jhay made the school rules simpler but students follows it as well. Hindi siya masyadong naging strict sa school rules.

"Anthony Sebastian Demejer your Peace Officer for this year!" Buti nalang nakumbinsi ko itong mga tropa ni Isaiah na tumakbo as SBO Officer kasi walang kwenta ang naging PO namin last year. Ang sakit niya sa bangs.

Next na tumayo ay si Kervin at mas lalong nag-sigawan ang mga kababaihan. Tactics ko rin ito bakit ko sila pinatakbo as officers. One na naging remarkable sila sa mga students, auto vote na rin sila mula President hanggang Escort.

"I'm Kervin John Turbino running for SBO Escort. I will be strict since if I won, I will handle Pageantry Club. So good luck everyone!!!" Saad nito at mas lalong nagtilian ang mga estudyante sa pakindat nito. 'Yan lang pala kailangan niyo eh.

"Anicia Khuey Romulo for Muse" tipid lang ang pagpapakilala ni Anicia ngunit nagdulot ito ng sigawan mula sa mga kalalakihan. Anicia is campus crush. Crush siya pati ng ibang lahi. Ganda no?!

Natapos na kami magpakilala at grabe ang mga hiyawan ng estudyante mostly galing sa mga Median and Rugs. Ang mga senior high na ibang lahi ay hindi nakikihalubilo ngunit nandito sila upang manood.

Sa aming school ay may tatlong main organizations.

BDO or Basic Department Organization. Para ito sa mga elementary at ang kailangan lang nilang kontrolin ay kapwa elementary students.

JBO or Junior Bodies Organization. Para naman ito sa mga Junior High Students. Same power as BDO. They can't control everything but their co-students only. They can make events only for them. I was a President here before.

SBO or Student Bodies Council. Ito naman ay para sa aming mga Senior High Students. Most powerful and highest organization. We can control our school, all of the students even the foreign ones, and we can make events for us only. Kaya maraming nagkakandarapa na maka-takbo as SBO President ngunit may required grades ito for other students. Since Royalty students kami, we can run even our grades doesn't meet the minimum grade.

Natapos na magpakilala ang ibang partylist and it's time for debate. Mukhang palaban itong President ng Rocketeer Partylist. Wait, she looks familiar.

"All Presidents candidate, step forward" Sabi ng Emcee habang ako ay nakatingin pa rin doon sa babae. Wait, siya 'yung dapat magpapa-picture kay Joe!!!

"Okay Ms. Lucresia and Maja, kayo ang magkalaban for debate. The rest, wait for me to call your names okay?" Sabi ng emcee. So Maja pala ang pangalan niya. Cheap.

"Okay here is your question" inalis ko ang atensiyon ko sa babaeng ito dahil baka hindi pa ako makasagot sa tanong.

"Does your status is big advantage to win this position?" what a nice question.

"The first who will answer this question is you, Ms. Maja Blanca" natawa naman ako sa surname niya. Isa ka palang dessert bitch.

"For me no. kahit po na scholar ako ng Scout, I know mananalo ako kung magtitiwala lang ang mga estudyante saakin" Tumingin ako sa mga estudyante at napa-nganga sila sa sagot nito.

"Your turn Ms. Lucresia"

"You know what dear, I don't know what's on your mind why you run for this position. Let me answer the question first. Status of living might be big advantage for me to win this position. Why? Our family has a lot of partners. If we will be having an event, I can provide it for everyone. Luxury feels. This is what I supposed to say earlier. Being president is a big responsibility because you will pay some expenses. You should be financially stable. Actually, stable is wrong terminology for that. You should be rich because you will spend a lot of money here" Sagot ko at nagpalakpakan naman sa akin ang mga Scout Students...

"But we can raise fundraising" Know what you're talking about girl...

"Fundraising is once a year lang for your information. You know what, bago ka sana tumakbo as President, binasa mo ang School Rules and Policies para informed ka no?" at nakita ko naman na tinaasan ako ng kilay nito.

"For your information, it's not my fault that I didn't know that since I'm transferee here" She answered.

"Just so you know, how did you file Certificate of Candidacy since you're a transferee here? The only one who can run as officers are those who studied grade 11 here. Right, Jhay?" napatayo naman bigla si Jhay at binigyan ito ng mic.

"Yes. Actually this is just a bill before. Matagal na siyang pina-process in Judiciary Department but last year lang siya napirmahan ni Lucresia" He explained.

"Are you the one who mae that law?" Matapang na tanong ng babaeng hampaslupa kay Jhay.

"Actually no. Someone passed the bill on me" He answered.

"But our administrator said we can run daw?" Tanong nitong Maja sa emcee.

"Actually, even your administrator can't run too since pinapasa lang ng current administrator ang kaniyang position sa trusted person niya" Sabat ni Arsin. This is too exciting. Wala silang kaalam-alam sa ginawa nila.

"Jianna is the current administrator. She died but she gave her position to her boyfriend which is Isaiah. He's not here since hindi naman siya kailangan dito since he already has a positon.

"Sorry to interrupt but Ms. Lucresia is right. Sorry for the administrator of Rocketeer Partylist you can't run. Ngayon lang namin natanggap 'yung letter ni Jianna with her signature" and the school director came. Bumaba na sa stage ang administrator ng kabilang partylist.

"Regarding for president, DIA allowed Maja to run so there are no problems about that" Dagdag pa nito. Oh, ayos ang Department of Internal Affairs.

"but this is on our policy, right? And I signed that policy so it means, applicable na siya now." I asked her.

"I don't have any idea about that. DIA is the one who can answer that" Sagot ng School Director. I know why. I abused my power as president and they're trying to disobey the school laws. Nice move DIA.

Natapos na ang campaign na umuwi silang luhaan since hindi sila makapalag saamin. Apat kaming partylist na naglaban-laban ngunit napatumba namin ang tatlo...

Election

"WHAAAAAAAT???" Sigaw ko sa aking narinig.

"Yes. You're losing." Pag-uulit ni Arsin.

"But how?" I asked her na may inis sa aking mukha. I can't believe this is happening.

"I saw the partial results. Maja got almost 1.5k votes while you, you have 939 only" She answered.

"No! this can't be!" Sigaw ko at lumabas ako ng aming SBO Office. Hinahanap ko Joe dahil balita ko ay kinampaniya niya sila Maja sa kanilang team.

Nagpunta ako sa locker room at pumasok ako dito. napalabas ako nang may marinig ako.

"Ugggh! Maja you're delicious!"

"Yes baby coz I'm Maja Blanca" sumilip ako sa loob at nanlaki ang mata ko. Joe with Maja hooking up.

Joe kissed Maja's lips hardly and he moved fast above her fast.

"Such a gross!" Bulong na sabi ko. Nakaramdam ako ng galit at sakit sa aking puso. Hindi ko inaasahan na tumutulo na pala ang luha ko.

Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at kinunan ko sila ng video at picture.

Pinunasan ko ang aking luha. Hindi dapat ako nasasaktan. Lucresia, you don't deserve to cry. You're Lucresia the fiercest, strongest, and bitchest girl in this school. Nung mukhang lalabasan na si Joe, bigla akong pumasok sa loob ng locker room at nagsalita.

"Masarap ba boyfriend ko?" gulat na napatingin saakin ang dalawa at dali-daling umalis sa kanilang pwesto at tinakpan nila ang kanilang katawan.

"Arrrrrgh!" Sigaw ni Joe at napahawak ito sa kaniyang puson.

"You know what guys, if magh-hook up kayo, make sure naka-lock ang door ha? Ayan tuloy na-istorbo ko kayo" At pilit kong nginitian sila.

"Ang sasagwa niyo. Dito pa talaga sa school" Saad ko at dali-dali nang lumabas sa locker room at tumakbo. Hindi ko napigilan ang mga luha ko at agad namang tumulo ang mga ito.

"What the f*ck Joe? I gave you everything tapos ganto ang igaganti mo?"

Nandito ako sa headquarters ng Department of Internal Affairs at kasalukuyang tinatakot ang Chief nito.

"Alam mo chief, kung hindi mo sila iki-kickout, I will spread this" At ipinakita ko sa kaniya ang video ni Joe at nung Maja Blanca. Nanlaki ang mga mata nito.

"And I will tell to the owner of this school na nag-violate ka sa Law na pinirmahan ko" I added.

"Fine" matipid niyang sagot at napa-buntong hininga ito. Hindi nito kayang pabayaan si Joe dahil pinoprotektahan nito ang pagiging player ni Joe. Sasali kasi ito sa mga National Competition soon at makaka-apekto ito once na kinalat ko.

"I know you're protecting Joe at kapag lumabas ito sa public, hindi na makakasali si Joe sa National Competition. But expelling them is not enough. Give me the President position and we will have win-win deal" Napa-isip ito ng malalim.

"What if hindi ko sinunod sinabi mo?" he asked. Natawa ako sa kaniyang tanong.

"One click and Joe's future is gone" I said. Sa sobrang dami ko ba namang followers for sure kakalat ito. Plus, si Joe pa ang nasa video na kinababaliwan ng lahat.

"Why you're doing this Lucresia?" napatayo ako sa kinauupuan ko at naglakad lakad sa paligid ng silid.

"Joe hurt me so much. I gave him all but this is how he will repay me? Ofcourse I will give what he deserves" Sabi ko na may galit at sakit sa aking boses. I can't even imagine that Joe can do this to me.

"Fine. For everyone's peace" He said and I smiled at him ironically.

Weeks After

Nanalo ako as SBO President and the new beginning will start soon! I swear! Nanalo rin ang mga kaibigan ko which is we need it to celebrate!!!

Plus, Joe and that Maja Blanca shit was kicked out. Double celebration I guess???

Tapos na ang oath taking namin at bumalik na ang mga estudyante sa kaniya-kaniyang room. Nakita ko si Maja at Joe na magkasama. Today is their last day in this school.

"Oh ano ginagawa ng cheater at ng malagkit dito? As far as I know, you're not allowed here anymore" Bati ko sa kanilang dalawa.

"I'm here to apologize Lu. Nasasakal na ako sa iyo" Sabi ni Joe.

"Hindi naman pala ako na-inform na kinakadena pala kita. Kailan pa???"

"Selosa ka kasi! Lahat ng babaeng nadikit saakin pinagseselosan mo!" Sigaw niya kaya nagtinginan saamin sila Arsin.

"Dumistansiya ka rin at sana alam mo limistasyon mo. Gago ka pala eh"

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!" tuwang-tuwang sigaw ni Israel.

"Wow. Lucresia, know your limitation too. Hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon sasakalin mo ako"

"Don't worry. Not anymore. Bangkay ka na sa isip ko" at tinalikuran ko na sila at nagsimula na akong maglakad.

Biglang hinigit ni Maja ang aking braso dahilan ng pagkainis ko.

"Can you please stop touching my skin? Ang lagkit lagkit mo!" Sigaw ko sa kaniya.

"Yes you won as President pero hindi ka nanalo sa puso ni Joe" Matapang na sabi nito kaya tumawa ako.

"So competition na pala ito? Sorry kung hindi ako nanalo ha since we're not in the same level. I'm above than you. At sorry, hindi ko talent mang-agaw ng boyfriend ng iba kaya panalo ka na agad" at tuluyan ko silang tinalikuran. Habang naglalakad, hindi ko namamalayang tumutulo na pala ang luha ko.

Nung medyo nakalayo na ako, tinignan ko sila at nasaksihan kong magkayakap ang dalawa. Cheaters...
