But to the truly informed it was a competition that had reclaimed Earth and its inhabitants. The period in which it was a VR game was only a tutorial and meant only to reacquant us with its systems. Yet even as they competed for territory and power from other races it was conflict between the humans that brought us to now. To the time when two people were sent back in time. A fierce competition and battle had led one to suicide for another and the other to desperately kill said another. But unknown to both they were sent back in time. One wanted to rule the game, the competition and the other simply wanted to save her friend. But this is a story of neither of them, it is a story of the friend. Of the talent of mankind. The savior and greatest genius that mankind had birthed and his story of navigating the regressed enemies and friends.
