The Tribal Warfare (2)

After we planned everything I sent Kage over to the volcano tribe as a messenger to let Kassai know that we were ready to go, we just needed to organise when we were going to attack. After sending Kage off, I entered my hut again and sat down next to Hailey. "Hailey... I will be gone for a while, just stay here until I come back, okay?" I explained to her. "Mhm..." She replied as she scrunched up her face and rolled onto her side, cute.

After a minute her soft and adorable snoring picked back up. "Heh... You're so cute, you don't even have to try. Guess I'll just leave a note." I said to myself. I wrote her a note, added a few teasing words as well as a funny face. I placed it on the side table next to Hailey and tip toed over to the entrance of my hut. I glanced back over at Hailey one last time before heading off to battle. "I'll be back soon, then I will finally confess." I muttered to myself as I jumped to the first sturdy branch.
