The Letter

I woke up too early in the morning.

I checked the clock: 3 AM. Of course, since I slept at 7PM and skipped dinner. I sat up on my bed and scratched my hair. And then something caught my eye.

A letter with a seal on the floor.

Wait, what's that? Who could it be from? How did I not notice that from the first place?

I went closer and grabbed it.

The letter looks about the same as that letter the owl was carrying previously. No way that the owl sent a message for me, specifically. I mean, who else in my family would have a well trained owl to send a letter? The seal was made a stamp of some organization made of wax. I carefully pealed off the seal trying not to rip the letter apart. Although some of the paper was stuck on the wax.

There was a single letter. I opened it.

Dear Eli,

How are you doing? This is your father. I have missed you so much. It has been six years from since we last met. And I wanted to meet you in person.

Remember the stories I have told you, and those book I left for you? Those things are real. Every single last of them are real. From magic to wizards, they're real. If you do not believe me, then I want you to meet me at the King's Cross Station at Platfrom 3. On Thursday.

Please, I hope you come.

From your Father,

Jonathan Calvus

"Father..." I said quietly. I stared at the letter. How can this be? After six years he left us, he sent me a letter and told me to come to him.

I had little tears coming down my eyes. I'm happy that my Father is still alive and still remembered about me. I kept the letter close and waited until the coming day.
