"Hello, Johnson. Can you please do me a favour? Can you please send your son to my house?" Damien patiently waited for his friend to agree.
"Hahaha, are you kidding me Dami? Who was the one who had asked my son to not come near your daughter when all he did was to ask your permission in courting your daughter? And let me remind you again he hadn't even met her back then still you had kicked him out of your house, denying him of visiting and courting her. I wonder why you changed your mind? When did this overly caring father decide to allow his daughter to date? Do you have some bad intentions? Or you finally understood how great my son is?"
'Great son, my foot.' Damien wanted to retort but he held himself back. It wasn't time to argue when he needed his friend's help. He swallowed back his words and said, "I was ignorant back then and always thought that my daughter was young and it wasn't good for her to date. But now she is denying every blind date I set up for her. See, I am not getting any young and I really want a grandchild soon. Also, I think that your son is the perfect candidate to be my son-in-law. If he agrees then please send him tomorrow in the morning."
"Okay, okay. I will ask my son and if he agrees then I will send him tomorrow."
"Thanks a lot, Johnson, I owe you this one."
"What rubbish! Just make sure to treat my son nicely. I don't want anything else okay?"
"Yes, yes will do that. Bye."
Damien sighed as he cut the call and placed his phone on the bed.
"I am sorry Jenny. I have to become an evil father for your sake. I hope you will forgive me in the future."

"Where should we go?" Surprisingly Jennifer initiated the conversation.
"You decide," Emmett spoke as he started the car.
"Hmm, I know a place nearby. It will hardly take ten to fifteen minutes to reach there. So shall we go?"
"Ya, sure."
Silence followed after their short conversation. Both had different thoughts going on in their minds.
'I will have to talk with him about our agreement after we did that in my bedroom...' Thinking about that made her blush, as she hurriedly looked outside the window so he wouldn't catch her blushing.
Luckily for her, Emmett had other thoughts on his mind hence he didn't quite pay attention to her small movements.
He was thinking about the behaviour of Jennifer's father which was quite unusual. Given his keen senses, he could tell that her father was just fearing something even her mother didn't know of.
After going home, he was going to tell his team to look into this matter. For now, he was just going to enjoy his time with Jennifer.
Under her instructions, they soon reached the place she was talking of.
What astonished him was that it was a small forest-like area. There was a narrow opening, with small stairs leading them in the forest area.
He parked his car a few metres away from that place as they both got down and began walking to the forest opening.
"Where are we going? What's this place?"
Jennifer mysteriously smiled at him not giving him any answers.
'So you don't want to talk, huh?' He narrowed his eyes at her but then decided to just keep silent. He would anyways come to know soon.

After climbing the stairs for five minutes they finally reached their destination.
The gentle breeze blew past his face, disheveling his hair in the process, making him look hotter than before.
Jennifer shivered as the cold wind touched her bare arms and legs. She folded her hands hoping that she would feel a little warm but it didn't help as she kept shivering.
She was startled when suddenly her skin came in contact with a warm coat.
Looking beside her, she saw the man was adjusting his coat on her body.
The warmth from the coat slowly spread over her body, going straight at her heart, making her feel warm altogether.
She then realised that the man had never treated her badly or ever got angry at her since she met him. He was very caring and didn't even blame her when her father insulted him.
Her heart started to flutter as she looked at the man who was closing the buttons of his coat.
His serious face contradicted his messy hair making him look extremely handsome.
She suddenly had an urge to kiss him hard.
'Oh, God! Am I really becoming a pervert like him?'
A clearing of the throat brought her out of her daze.
She noticed that his face was too close to hers. His black eyes were observing her expressions and she started back at them.
"Thank you."
Embarrassed, she turned to face towards the edge of the cliff trying to clear her thoughts.
Jennifer tucked her hand inside the coat pocket as she began to walk closer towards the edge of the cliff.
This place reminded her of the thing that happened to her two years back.
At first, she loathed places such as cliffs and mountains as that would trigger her memories which she wanted to bury deep down in her heart.
She had thanked God many times for giving her a chance to live that she forgot her promise of taking revenge on the people who had made her life hell.
But later on, as time passed, she started visiting the cliffs regularly for months reminding herself that she didn't take her revenge yet.
She started living with the horrid memories and made them her strength.
They would always remind her of her goal. The cliff always gave her a bittersweet feeling.
The reason she had brought Emmett to a cliff was that she wanted to remind herself that she shouldn't be getting involved in a relationship. She didn't have the liberty to. She was shackled in past events and didn't have the freedom to think of these things.
The word 'relationship' was taboo for her. After a failed relationship and the worst betrayal, she had decided not to get into any relationship ever again.
That was until she met him. Every reason of hers flew away with his caring behaviour and soothing touches and hungry kisses.
She now understood how it was to be in a relationship.
Previously it was one-sided possessiveness and not love. She had never loved that man. In fact, she had always considered him as a friend. But she was tricked into the relationship, also was fooled as he made her believe that she loved him.
She really was a big fool at that time. But now she had matured a lot.
__
Her thinking halted when the man beside her tucked a few of her strands behind her ear.
She looked at him. Her gaze showing determination.
Her initial thoughts of telling him to keep his distance from her and not to act this intimately flew away as she took notice of his caring actions.
The battle of her brain and heart started again. Brain telling her that what she was doing was wrong and her heart encouraging her, telling her that she was going on the right path. But unlike earlier, she was no more confused this time.
Because somewhere she knew that her heart had won a long time back.
She was slowly falling in love with him.
It was both thrilling as well as frightening.
But she had decided now that she was going to give both of them a chance if he too agreed with it.
She was again going to experience romance.
