The Reader and The Gamer

Waking up in an unknown alley, a young man groans in displeasure.

"Ugh… geez what's with this headache, and where the hell am i?" Asks the young man to no one in general.

"And what's with this thing that has been talking inside my head while doing a shitty ass monologue" …

"Huh? Why is it not talking anymore, I mean it was talking about what I was doing all along wasn't it? So why did it stop?" …

"Well not that it concerns me right now, first I gotta find out where and who the hell i am" says the young man with a certain determination in his voice, and weird calmness in his action.

"Wha- You know what lets just ignore it, though it is right about the fact that I am weirdly calm, after all i don't think that it is normal for someone to wake up in an alley… Well I will think about it at a later time, first I'll search my pockets for something, maybe an ID or a phone, hoping that it doesn't have a lock" says the young man as he started to search his pockets.

"Hoho!" Exclaims the young man as he found a wallet with a student ID, a credit card and money inside "So my name is Alec Kurden, I am 17 years old, and I am going to ### High school. Apparently I live in ### street in ### in South Korea right now, and I am a foreigner huh…" analyses the young man -now Alec Kurden- with interest in himself.

"And now to the main topic… my face!" He says while analizing the photo on his ID *Whistle* "Would you look at that I am quite handsome~" says Alec while admiring himself with a horrible face and a narcissistic tone. He was a handsome teenager with a sharp face, his eyes and hair were of a light purple and his hair had some spikes all pointing below, in the photo he was wearing a black shirt while right now he was wearing a purple hoodie, with a white T-shirt inside, and dark gray pants.

"You damn- Augh! Haaa… well let's leave it like this." … 'Guess I'll go around, try to understand where I am right now and search for the apartment I live in right now' thought Alec, who started walking and try to understand where he is.

20 minutes later

As he sits down on a wooden bench, Alec starts swearing. "Fuck! I've been going around but there's no one here. It's like everyone disappeared!" As he finished his rant, a sudden sound stops him from continuing.

*Crash* *Bang*

As a sudden sound enters his ears, Alec turns around and notices two people on the roof a a house "Huh? What's with those two? Are they cosplayer?" He said, while scrutinising the man and the woman on the roof.

"Let me get a closer look" as Alec got closer he could make out the face of the man and the woman, and he also noticed another guy who was on the street like him. 'Who is he? He doesn't seem to know what's happening, in fact he seems amazed, but he does look calm'

The other guy had dark brown hair, about his face… he didn't look handsome but you couldn't call him avarage or ugly so just a bit above avarage *Ahem* Obliviously he wasn't close to being as handsome as Alec. The other guy was wearing a blue shirt with a red tie and black pants. However there was something weird about him, like his demeanour…

Shaking his head, Alec looks back at the two people on the roof he could now make out how they looked, the middle aged man had black hair, which were slicked back, his eyes were covered with sunglasses while he was wearing a black suit. While the other was a tall young woman with long red hair that are tied up in a ponytail, with some hair that fall on her face which reaches her eyes, she is wearing a white buttoned t-shirt with an orange tie and two red fingerless gloves and a brown skirt that reaches her knees.

After analysing the two's look, an androgynous voice started talking in his head

'Huh? The Reader? And Natural ability? What are those?" Said Alec but then noticed something above the head of the woman.

Screamed Alec in his mind in hopes of a status plate to appear but to no avail. "Then let's try to say it out loud… Status!" And this time it also failed "Then… Menu?" But it also failed

With a dejected face he gives up having a system "Haaa… but then why was I able to see her title, lv and name?" Says Alec who then realised that the status on Shiyeon disappeared, and appeared on the man.

'Damn, he's also got a high level' but as soon as the status on Seongon appeared it disappeared, and then it was in front of Alec.

"Again The Reader… what is it really" he said with wonder but like it happened with Shiyeon and Seongon it disappeared, after this he heard sounds of footsteps. Looking up he saw the guy from before starting to run away but what caught his attention was a certain screen above his head.
