The Queen's Bat (Pt. 2)

The bat looked at her funny. Not quite understanding why she was smiling. Though the bat stayed quiet and continued to look at her. She slowly reached out to the bat, very, very slowly before snatching it up and hugging it. "Queen!" She squealed. "I know it's not actually you but this is the closest I'll ever get!" A single tear fell down her cheek. The bat rolled it's eyes as she said that then saw her tear and started to panic. She had no idea what to do. The bat just stared at her as the queen panicked internally. "Pure happiness!" She squeezed the bat even harder, causing it to squeak in pain so she stopped hugging it and just held it in her arms. "Sorry-" The bat goes back to the horses head. The bat just stare at her, slightly uncomfortable. She made a pouty face and tried to shoo it away again. "If you won't accept my love, leave me alone!" She said harshly, sounding a little hurt herself.The bat flies to her lap, the lays down and sleeps. It was trying to tell her, she accepted it. The bat had the queens symbol on its back. She looked at it awkwardly for a few seconds and then patted it's head. She looked up and saw a bunch of banners representing different lord's coat of arms. She looked at her general. "Swadian or Rhodoks?" She called yo him. He didn't answer because he couldn't tell. The bat slept on her lap, while this was happening. It would only wake up is if someone touched Katrin. So the bat continues to sleep unless she's in danger. She ordered everyone to stop because she couldn't see a banner flying overhead from that distance. She decided to send someone to see what was going on. The person she sent was another Sergeant that she trusted. She looked down at the bat in her lap and smiled to herself. The bat looks at her and smiles. The bat then flies around her and then lays back down on her lap. Making squeaking noises to try and talk but failes. She patted the bats head and then started to move her horse over to her general. "If things go badly, I want you to lead the survivors back to safety. Doesn't matter where, as long as it's not Swadian territory." She ordered him firmly. He wasn't going to be able to stop her from staying behind if she needed to. The bat squeaks out and flies around her, worriedly. Then flies back on her lap and looks at her. The bats eyes should worry and care. "I'll be fine" she whispered with a smile while the general tried to object her order. Just then her Sergeant came riding back. The army was a Rhodok war party led personally by King Graveth, war had been declared just hours ago. "We're safe. Let's move on ahead, I want to speak with our king" The bat gets on her head, watching. She wants to make sure she sees everything. The bat, as her eyes, waiting and didn't hurt the female. They approached the war band and once they got there, King Graveth ordered her to bolster up her army and even gave her the money to do so. H said they're plans were to take a Swadian castle and stop for an audience with the demon queen on the way there. Despite this, she thanked her king and they both went their separate ways, Graveth went to the demon queens castle and Katrin went to Rhodoks and started a massive recruitment campaign for new soldiers. The bat tries to pull her to the Queens castle. It kept trying to pull her back, as it kept squeaking and making noises. The bat tries to tell her something...
