The Mysterious CEO

The sky was covered with dark clouds, it was mid-January & snow was slowly falling from the sky. No one wanted to spend a single moment in this dark street, however, the crying voice of an old man was coming from the corner of the street.

Where a man having handsome face was sitting on the chair with his darkened facial expression and in front of him was an old man on his knees begging for mercy surrounded by a bunch of bodyguards who were standing in a circle.

"Pres… President... please forgive me….please… I know I was wrong… but please forgive me…" The old man said in a hoarse voice. He was hoping to get the chance for survival, but he had forgotten that the man, who was sitting in front of him, was Si Li, CEO of the Si Corporation, known for ruthlessness. The old man continued, "I have already confessed everything… please let me leave."

"Continue." An emotionless voice came from Si Li's mouth.

A man in the black suit, who was standing beside Si Li, moved forward and released the wild dogs towards the old man on receiving Si Li's order. Those dogs hadn't eaten fresh meat since the last month.

Suddenly,

"Ahhhhh---------" A screaming voice of a girl came.

Lu Lan was walking around the street alone. She was very sad because, even after doing so much of hard work, the management of her company hadn't transferred her to the Taxation Department. It was her dream to become a part of the consultant team in the taxation department, but she hated to do politics and she didn't have any strong background and she didn't want to become a mistress of any man for a post. As a result, she wasn't able to fulfil her dream yet. She strongly believed that to become successful, one should rely on their hard work and not on their appearance.

Lu Lan was so sad that she didn't know where she was walking alone. Until she heard a scream coming from the dark corner of the street. She found that voice was very familiar to someone whom she knew. To confirm, she went towards the dark corner and saw that some wild dogs were biting to her manager and his face was covered with blood & flesh.

Back to the present...

Seeing the girl, old man's eyes lit up & he said in a hoarse voice "Lu Lan… Lu Lan... Please save me... please…"

Seeing a girl came out of nowhere, Si Li looked at his assistant. His assistant understood and he moved towards Lu Lan, but to his surprise, Lu Lan quickly came back into her senses, moved forward and said emotionlessly: "You won't get anything by killing this useless old man."

Lu Lan knew the person who was sitting on the chair was CEO of Si Corporation. Lu Lan was currently working in the Tax advisory, which was a subsidiary of Si Corporation.

By hearing Lu Lan words, the old man was very angry, but he had to suppress his anger as he was hoping that in the presence of Lu Lan, Si Li wouldn't kill him because Si Li wouldn't want to reveal his image, which he had been hiding from this world, that he could really kill someone.

To the world, Si Li was someone who believed in justice & he did the same. But it was very difficult for someone to remain in power by only having justice at your side.

Upon hearing Lu Lan words, the old man ecstatically said "Lu Lan is right, you won't get anything by killing me. She is right…"

Unexpectedly, Lu Lan had said something, which he had never thought in his dream.

"Instead of killing him, why don't you make him into someone who won't even call himself a man." Lu Lan continued having the mischievous smile on her face.

She knew what kind of man her manager was. She still remembered that she was his target to fulfil his desire, but Lu Lan was able to save herself. However, she wasn't able to change the working environment near her. She was just hoping that someday, she would make him pay and today was her day.

Lu Lan's words were not only surprised Si Li's assistant, Mu Che, and the old man but also to Si Li. Seeing a girl, who was not only scared by this scene but was also suggesting a cruel idea.

"Choice is yours and don't worry, I will never let anyone know about this because I know what you are doing is correct." Lu Lan continued further and turned around to leave.

"LU LAN! YOU BI**H! I KILL YOU…...!" The old man shouted crazily.

"Do as she said, " Si Li said coldly.
