The Master Of All

He thought that Death would come with an untold amount of pain, and yet it was over in a second, a painless process.

His life, all his experiences, all the things he had seen, heard, felt....All of this would disappear because of how insanely reckless he was. Yes, Julio was not the most sane man in history.

And in hindsight, it seemed quite logical that jumping from the top of the Niagara Falls, completely naked, would only end badly. But then again, Julio was someone who loved to live his life without thinking too much. Be it moral or reason, he would ignore both to throw himself at the most dangerous things the world had to offer.

It had worked well for his entire life, unfortunately everything must come to an end. And yet the end didn't exactly come to him.

' A book ?' Thought Julio who had just noticed that his death hadn't come, and that he was laying in an all-white room. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw the only thing that wasn't white in this room, except for himself of course. There was some sort of pentagram on the floor, with a book lying in the middle of it.

Julio immediately went to pick it up, but soon regretted his decision. The pentagram activated and a purple gas escaped from the floor below said pentagram. Before Julio could even make out what was happening, a genderless voice was heard.

" Hope you slept well, Julio-Boy !" Said the voice, effectively scaring the hell out of Julio. He may be a tough guy, but the genderless voice coming out of nowhere was quite unnerving.

" Who...Who are you ? Where are you ?" Asked the young man.

" Hmmm....Dunno ! However I do know what that book you're holding is." Said the voice. Julio looked down in surprise, seeing that he was holding the book tight.

" Now before you start to ask some unimportant questions, let me speak." Said the voice, making Julio frown.

" Very well, speak then, weird voice." Said Julio, making the voice chuckle, before the book began to float and opened on it's own.

On the first page Julio could see that ' The Master' had been written on it. There wasn't anything else, and it was the same with other pages, until the voice spoke once more.

" This is the Book of ' The Master'. Now I could waste some time explaining how it works to you, or I could just send the knowledge to your mind.....It shouldn't hurt that much." Said the voice. Julio nodded, a bit unsure and began to scream at the top of his lungs when a stream of memories assaulted his mind.

" I may have lied a little." Admitted the voice.

Julio would've complained, but he was too busy getting the basic understanding of how the book worked. After a few minutes, his breathing calmed down and he looked much more....Ready.

" So....The ability to become the master of anything, huh ? This seems....A bit too much, to be completely honest. Even with the knowledge you forced into my mind, I still can't totally believe it." Said Julio, looking at the book as if he was looking at some sort of alien technology.

" Then maybe it will be better if we ran a little test. The possibilities won't be all that impressive since we are not in any special world, but it's just a test. Now use the book !" Exclaimed the voice.

Julio braced himself and flipped a page of the book, he then waited for some words to appear and gulped loudly.

" Let it be known that I am now a Master.....The Master of..." Julio waited for a bit as the pages flipped with some insane speed and in no particular order, until it stopped and a new set of words appeared baffling Julio.

".....Julio...." He said.

" Oh.....HAHAHAH ! This is definitely great ! I will treat it as a bit of a bonus ! This may not seem good, but being the Master of your own self is incredible. For you are now able to completely modify every aspect of your body, soul and mind. Normally it cost some points, as you already know, but I will let you do some modifications for free." Said the voice, sounding like an excited child.

" Uh....Cool I guess ? Where should I start ?" Asked Julio.

" Well....You coulf change your appearence, your build, your class, your race-Though it could be bad since you're not in a special world yet-and maybe your personnality !" Said the voice, shocking Julio.

" I can change all that.....Goddamn !" Yelled Julio, now finally realizing the situation he was in. A perfect situation for a person such as himself.

" Uh okay, appearence it is then....Hmmm.....I guess I would prefer to look a bit more, handsome and maybe a bit more imposing too...A handsome Broly I guess....Though too much muscle is a no go." Said Julio changing his appearence to become a smaller and less impressive Broly with longer hair, no scars and a pretty boy face. He looked like a K-pop star who had discovered the wonders of the gym. It was a bit weird, but it would do fine. Muscles for strengh, and pretty boy face for charisma.

" Okay so the build now...Strengh, Stamina, Agility, Charisma, Intelligence or Luck.....So build is like choosing my main stat...This body should have some Strengh, Stamina and Charisma, I'm not that dumb and Agility was never a choice.....So Luck it is. I hope I won't regret it." Said Julio, lost in his thoughts as the voice kept quiet.

" Class is not a real choice since it's either [ Random Master ] or [ Master of Anybody ]. One allows me to be the Master of everything and the other would concentrate on actual beings, and not items or places.....So [ Random Master ] is clearly better....I won't change my race since I don't want to learn to get used to a new body. " Said Julio, indicating that he had finished. The words [ Master of Julio ] faded from the page, and something new was written, [ World ].

" Now it's very important Julio-Boy. Since you chose Luck as your build, you shouldn't have any problems getting a good first world and first Master Role. The first Master Role is always something easy, so you don't need to worry about it, however the world is quite tricky. You probably won't stay in the first world for a while, even if you do decide to come back one day. So just hope to get an easy but not too good world. " Said the voice, a bit more serious now.

Julio nodded and the pages flipped once again. The first page was now back, and the name of the first world was written on it...And it certainly made Julio smile awkwardly.

" Oh...."

" Oh indeed Julio-Boy....Oh indeed."
