Chapter Two

"Hello, to what do I own the honors to have the prodigy Akira come for a little visit?" Jamie said with a wide smirk, he motions Akira to take a seat by him and he does as was told. "The real prodigy here is you," Akira exclaimed, Jamie blushed in embarrassment, trying to cover his face with his violin. "Well you do always state the obvious, now don't you?" Akira had a huge grin and soft punched Jamie. "So how have you been, you know with your doctor's and stuff?" Akira said, Jamie looked at him with a smile, "I'm doing amazing, thanks for your concern by the way." Jamie began to put his violin away. He then suddenly felt a pang in his head, falling on the floor he clenched his head as he scream whispered painful groans. A sudden flashback hits his head, he sees a bridge, not too high, but not too low, he feels himself approach the bridge. Now, he's at the top and the next thing he sees is pure darkness and coldness. "-MIE -AMIE - IE JAMIE!" Akira yelled as he squatted next to Jamie, he knew that this was some of the side effects of his trauma so Akira grew very worried. Jamie was now shaking uncontrollably and he shivered as tears began to stream down his soft pale face, Jamie felt dizzy and felt his breath shortening.

"Jamie? Come on! Snap out of it!" Akira yelled as he began to pat Jamie's back soothing him a little to calm down. Jamie was shivering a lot at this point, but he was calming a little down, Akira helped him up to sit in one of the chairs, getting away from the cold clear floor. "I'm s-sorry t-t-this ha-has being hap-happening a-a-a l-lot rec-recently. . ." Jamie tried to talk but his lip was quivering too much he could hardly say a word without stuttering. "It's okay, wanna come with me to Wac's right now?" Jamie glowed up a little he was really hungry right now but he was still shaking a little too.

"Y-yeah, p-pl-please!" Jamie said as he slowly tried to get up but fell right back on the chair he sat on. "Here I'll give you a hand," Akira murmured. Akira has been a friend of Jamie's since childhood too, they began to slowly drift apart in middle school as Jamie and his supposed-to-be accompanist had a big fight that broke the friendship of the duo. Jamie however was very sad about this because it was thanks to this friend that he found what he loves to do the most. Akira stopped talking to Jamie as Jamie became more quiet and distant but Akira still watched him from afar, taking care of him from that distance. When the rumor spread that he was supposedly gay, many boys tried to bully Jamie but Akira threatened them with such harsh words nobody dared approach him.

Akira and Jamie have now reunited as friends when Jamie did something extremely unwanted, Akira tried his very best to make Jamie the happiest possible.

Akira helped Jamie up as he wrapped a hand around his waist and since Akira was really tall, Jamie rested his head on Akira's shoulder as they began to exit the school with their stuff. "Wait, b-but school's not ov-over yet, aren't we d-ditching?"

"If you're so worried I can take you back to the classroom and we both know that's not a good idea at the moment," Akira said with a light chuckle to himself. Jamie glared at him and mumbled a little 'I know that!' before they began to make the secret route to escape this chasm.

"Jamie, have you've been getting a lot of attacks recently?"

" A li-little maybe abou-about five or six times, t-they haven't b-been happening as much as I avoid my p-parents as m-much as I can, they're mostly the main reason I get them i-in the f-first place."

"Have you been taking your medication at all?"

"Yeah, I t-takes as i-it's prescribed, I have a few days left then I won't need them anymore."

"Jamie, why did you try to kill yourself?" Akira looked down at this question, he wasn't sure if he should ask or not but he wanted to help Jamie as much. Jamie went wide-eyed as he began to cry again more at this point. "Jamie, some of us will miss you, you know? You can't just go and try to take your life like that, you still have to become an amazing violinist." Akira was looking away as he used his free hand to bite his knuckles trying to hold back the small tears he was choking inside.
