Chapter 10 Selection

After the battle Alucard went to the location were the villagers went.

Lone Wolf was anxious as he keep pacing back and fourth thinking about the young man.

"Chief do you think young hero has a chance to win?" said one of the villagers.

"We must trust young hero he even put his life on the line just to protect our small village. Young hero will be fine." replied lone wolf but deep inside he was worrying too.

Several hours has passed every villagers was anxious. Suddenly one of the guards of the village saw a man walking towards them carrying a sword that is glowing in red.

"Chief the young hero is walking towards us" reported by the guard.

"What are you standing for go welcome the young hero" replied by Lone Wolf.

After Alucard was welcomed he told the villagers that it was safe now to comeback to the village and the blood orcs was no more. Everyone was happy about it after reaching their village they were dumbfounded by the scene they saw a pile of blood orcs almost as tall as a mountain could be seen outside the gate.

Morning has come the selection for the candidate to become a student of temple of light was held in the mountains.

The elder of the temple of lights had come. He was shock to see the mountains of corpse of blood orcs outside the gate. The elder inquired about what happened after knowing the details he was dumbfounded a master that at least at the level of Elite one save the villagers. Such a strong person was passing by in these remote village.

The story that chief wolf give to the elder was fabricated because Alucard wants to lie low and the chief agrees to it. It may give some problems if the elder knows his strength and may give the elder suspicion about Alucard.

The rules of the selection was that the first person who could kill ten wild beast will win the selection. The elder agree to it for he knows how weak the villagers are. Wild beast was only in warrior three at most .

"Why are we only selecting one person from this selection? You know there are two slots being offered Chief Wolf." said the elder.

"As you know Elder Cain the master who save us from the blood orcs left his only child here to train. We are indebted to him so we give the other slot to his son as our gratitude." replied by Chief Wolf.

Elder Cain was the name of the elder who was responsible for the selection

" Its your choice so i will not pursue this matter. Call that person here." said Elder Cain.

After awhile Alucard came. "Alucard greets Elder Cain" cupping his fist toward the elder.

The elder was sizing up alucard after awhile he speak " Young man may i know the name of your father?".

"Elder my father's name is David a wanderer and also a swordsman." said Alucard.

"David" the elder try searching in his mind about this man but found nothing about him. He knows every swordsman that is famous in this land but no one match this name.

Alucard could guess what the elder was thinking but he was not bothered about it.

"You may leave now and prepare your things we will travel tomorrow back to the temple of light." said the elder.
