The King of the Lonely Peak

The Lonely Peak was a relatively famous game series. It depicted the warring clans of the Barbarian Lands in the West, and the sophisticated societies of its neighboring kingdoms. To the East lay the Empire of Magic where wizened old men and women in luxurious robes flaunted their vast array of arcane knowledge. To the North lay the United Conglomerates of the Ancient Ones, they who guard and cling to the glories of the past. Finally, to the South, there existed only an aged nexus in which all the inhabitants were filled with immortals known as ‘Players’ in their own tongue. This was the starting location of the game, the Lonely Peak, with the standard trope of rising above the rest and leading the world of Alden against its future calamity. At one time, everything was just fun and games, but everything changed from the moment Levi Hartman died in the real world and found himself born as the son of an unassuming Tribal Chief in the Barbarian Lands twenty years before the start of the main story.
