Chapter 24

   Allen looked at her like she had grown another head. "Why are you willing to be stuck with me, you don't owe me anything", he said cautiously. Ariel sighed. "You're my protector and you're my teacher, it would be pretty befitting if you become my fiance for a day wouldn't it? ", she said nonchalantly. 

        "You don't owe me anything so I don't want to owe you anything either", he said and started walking away. 'such a stubborn boy, ugh'. 

        Ariel ran up to him and held both his hands as she looked into his eyes. His expression shifted from worry to annoyance to confusion. She did her best cute impression. "Allie, I don't want you to owe me anything, I just wanna do this for a day, don't you want me to have a celestial man in my life for Atleast a day. And considering your good looks, you're the one doing me the favor. So whaddaya say? ", she said and leaned closer to fluster him. 

         He looked unmoved. Ariel pouted annoyed. "Come on dude just do it already", she yelled in his face. He didn't even blink. She thought he was annoyed until she saw that the tips of his ears were slightly getting pink. She was dazed. If smiling Allen was cute then blushing Allen was fifty nine times nine times more cute.

        They remained like that for sometime with one staring at the other and the other blushing at one. Until she saw a white flash, she broke free from his spell and saw Allen's mother with her cell phone in hand. "Aw f*** , I should have turned off the stupid flash", she said and smiled at Ariel. 

         "Sorry for interrupting your passionate couple moment but I came over to convince Allen to go somewhere", she said. Ariel composed herself and nodded. "Yes Ma'am, to the castle. Because Allen's father wants to meet me", she said. She elbowed him in the ribs and he broke free from whatever spell he bound himself in. 

        He growled at her but when he remembered what happened, the tips of his ears went pink again. She had been trying to make him flustered but had unknowingly placed her whole body on him, including her...ahem... Ample bosom. 

        Usually, when girls did those things to him, they did it so he could fall in love with them and he usually ended up throwing them into a dirty gutter. But she did it so that he wouldn't have to marry that makeup monster. Plus she had no idea so he could let it pass this once. He looked up and saw his mother speaking comfortably with Ariel.

      His mother looked up at him. "You guys are even more in love than I thought", she said with a smile. Allen recoiled but Ariel was quick to give him another shove on the ribs. He winced and threw Ariel a nasty look which she countered with a pout that made her look a hundred times more babyish. 

     Allen's mother smiled looking at their interaction. "Well darlings, I'll see you tonight", she said and sauntered out the door. Allen frowned and turned to Ariel. "You shouldn't have done that little one, I'm not even sure she believes us", Allen said. Ariel went very red. "She took a photo of us last night and just now", she said with a face so red he was getting worried. 

       He placed a hand on her forehead. She quickly removed it and handed him her phone "she sent the photos to me", she said and watched as his ears turned pink also. 

      Because from the angle she took the photo. It...it looked like he was... Making out with her on the wall. The photo made it look like they were drunk and all over each other. Then he swiped to the one of this morning. They were actually all over each other but come on, they weren't kissing.

       He needed to teach his mother about clean photography. Honest photography. His mother's photo were anything but honest. He sighed. "I'm sorry little princess, I shouldn't have roped you in", he said. "I wanted to be in", she said and smiled. She ran into the kitchen presumably to cook. He watched her movements. 

         When the food was done, she sat down in the dining to eat again but yes... Of course... There was only one plate. Black lines formed on his forehead. This princess only knew how to make him angry. He walked over and before he could even touch the food, she had lifted it with lightning speed. 'Of course, her training kicks I'm the moment I have to get something for her',  he thought aggrieved. 

         She blew a raspberry at him. He pouted as well. 'Two could play at the cute game', he thought. Suddenly, Ariel stopped moving and just watched him with an open mouth. He furrowed his brows but forgot that he was still pouting so he doubled the cuteness. 

        All of the sudden, Ariel shrieked into his beautifully sensitive ears. "Oh my Goodnessssss!, cuteness overload", she screamed and held her head as she ran up the stairs. 

   50 years later. 

 "Grandpa, why do you have a hard time hearing sometimes", a little Lolita looking girl asked. He sighed. "Ear deafening screams grand baby, ear deafening screams", he said and shook his head.
