Chapter 20

"Um... What's your name? ", she asked. He sighed. "Why do you need it", he asked. "I don't want to keep addressing you as Nova in my head", she replied indignantly. "My name is Allen", he said. She squealed inside.'That name is so cute'.

He brought her to a plain ground at somewhere very far away.  "Sit here for four hours, no movement is allowed",he said and left. She cocked an eyebrow. "What kind of bullsugar training is this? ", she asked herself.

She huffed and stood up from the floor in annoyance. Allen was in front of her again. "No. Movement. Allowed", he enunciated each word carefully. She flinched at his cool tone and sat back on the ground. He left again.

Fine then, if he wanted her to sit then she would sit. She would sit for four days. Teehee, he would be so worried about her.

Two minutes later, Ariel felt like dying. Who said sitting in one place was an easy task. She silently insulted Allen's whole family line. She endured more. It was just four hours. She could do it.

=================================

Three hours later, Ariel was wailing at the top of her lungs. This wasn't training, it was pure torture. She eventually quieted down. And in that time, she felt radiant energy, like a life crystal. Wasn't this Neptune, how could she feel a life crystal here. Plus Allen had locked up her talent in that stupid cube.

She concentrated and was covered in the energy in no time at all. Was this why Allen wanted her to sit at a place. Because he wanted her to break her talent free little by little on her own?.  She smiled. Since she knew what she was supposed to do, sitting too long didn't bother her anymore.

At the end of the fourth hour, Allen came where she was. She was too busy concentrating and didn't even sense him at all. He smiled. It seemed like this pampered little princess was getting the hang of things. He waited for more than two hours when she fell asleep.

He lifted her in his arms and walked over to where his blue Ferrari was parked. He placed her in the passengers seat and drove fast but carefully to the mansion. He was already enjoying his driving when he heard an ear splitting, world ending, brain damaging scream from beside him.

He hissed and the car swerved as he desperately tried to cover his sensitive ears. He quickly and efficiently parked the car. He gave her a look that seemed to say "what is it you mad woman".

She blinked and his face registered in her memory. She smiled sheepishly at him. "Sorry, I didn't know it was you. I thought I was kidnapped again", she said. Allen's left eye twitched. 'What does she mean by again, I saved her not kidnapped her',  he thought to himself.

He frowned and kept his eyes on the road as he continued driving. It seems like saving someone from imminent death meant nothing these days. "Hey... Why did you wear a hood when I saw you. And why did you come back to earth. Oh and how did you bring me to Neptune", she asked.

He gave her a side glance. "Which one should I answer first", he asked amused. "Just tell me your story", she said. "I don't want to", he said. He turned the steering wheel to the right to avoid a corolla. "You are the slowest driver ever. This is a Ferrari bro, use it", she said and made a face. She mentally slapped herself. 'He is your kidnapper, not Jero, get a hold of yourself dammit', she chastised herself.

Allen pursed his lips. "You want fast Huh?, okay then", he said and pressed his feet on the gas pedal. The car sped up. Allen smirked. She wanted speed didn't she, he was sure she would puke. Asimuthia, Grace and his mother all puked in his cars due to speed.

He nearly hit his head against the steering wheel when he saw that instead of puking, she raised her hands and whooped, encouraging him to go faster.

'Is this really a girl', he asked himself. He shrugged and obliged her, going so fast, he thought he was going to be turned inside out.

When they eventually got to the mansion, she was as dizzy as a drunkard on the night of an alcohol sale. She hobbled out of the car with difficulty. She grabbed onto the handle with a hand on her stomach.

He scoffed, didn't he warn her. "Actually you didn't, pride got the best of you", the little angel on his shoulder said. He furrowed his brows as he walked over to carry her. His angel was right, pride got the best of him. As he touched her, she fainted in his arms.

He shook his head. Concentrating for that long must have drained out her energy. He lifted her and started walking into the house.
