Preparation For The Grand Shōtotsu

Shizen: "Jeez you guys give me a major headache" Shizen proclaimed as he scratched his head. "And Kasai... Don't push yourself to the limit if you're not yet fully healed." He added.

Shadow: "Yeah, You have your girlfriend all worried about your health and here you are just fighting till the pain kicks in." Shadow happily teases the two. 

Sora: "G-G-Girlfriend.... I...ugh..... I...." Sora stuttered, She was blushing extremely. Her face was as red as a tomato, She was extremely embarrassed. "She's not my girlfriend, yet" Kasai proclaimed, defending himself. 

Ryūsei: "The "yet" part is the one I'm worried about" Ryūsei proclaimed. "I agree, I feel sorry for Sora" Kayosha added.

Kasai: "What does that mean?!!" Kasai proclaimed, looking at his two best friends who were teasing him. "I'm a good boyfriend, right babe??" Kasai asked, and he then began teasing Sora. "I have no idea what you're talking about....." Sora embarrassedly proclaimed, looking away from Kasai with her face all red as a tomato.

Yuki: "Well since the spar is over and that match hyped me up…." Yuki proclaimed, breaking the silence while stretching her legs. "Shadow, Sweetie let's have a little spar shall we???" She happily asked, looking at her boyfriend.

Shadow: "We shall not!!!" Shadow immediately replied, backing away from Yuki. "Why is there a problem Sweetie??" Yuki asked with a cold tone, but she was indeed a little bit pissed and ice then began to appear below Yuki's feet.

Shadow: "Don't give me that look" Shadow proclaimed, looking at Yuki. "We have to go to school, remember??" He added. 

Ryūsei: "Why are we returning to school??" Ryūsei curiously asked as he interrupted the two of them. He indeed, did not want to go back to school.

Kasai: "Oh yeah, You weren't here when they announced it." Kasai happily proclaimed as he slowly approached Ryūsei. 

Ryūsei: "Announced what??" Ryūsei quickly asked. "They're going to explain some of the rules for the Grand Shōtotsu-" Kayosha replied but unfortunately Ryūsei immediately ran outside before Kayosha could even finish talking.

Shizen: "Classic Ryūsei, He never changes" Shizen happily proclaimed, and happily laughed at his little brother, and the rest of them followed after Ryūsei. They immediately went outside the palace and headed off to Aluxany Highschool.

In a distance not so far away from them, above the roof of a house. There were two people who're covered by a brown and black robe. They were looking at Ryūsei who just came out of the castle.

???: "Is that him???" The black robed person asked as they looked at Ryūsei from a certain distance.

???: "Yes, that's him Ryūsei Ryūgū, The 4th Grand Elementalist. The Crowned Dragon from the legends" The brown robed person replied. 

???: "Looks like he's here as well" The brown robed person proclaimed. "Who???" The black robed person curiously asked. "The Crowned Dragon of Creation" The brown robed person replied.

???: "What an unexpected series of events" The brown robed person proclaimed. The two then jumped from roof to roof, following behind Ryūsei.

(At Aluxany Highschool)

In the educational system of the Elemental World. Students are scheduled to take the first two weeks of every month in school. They are not allowed to take any quest and are required to attend school in order to be trained and taught by their teachers until the last two weeks of school which will be focused on quests and missions. This process is done monthly inorder to check any improvement of the students and the Chīmas.

All the students then began gathering at their prospective classrooms. The bell then rings and classes begin at Aluxany Highschool. Ryūsei, Kasai, Sora and Kayosha are already seated in their prospective seats, waiting for their teacher to enter the room. After a short while, Prof. Hex then entered the room and class was about to begin.

Prof. Hex: "Good Morning Maggots" He greeted and then looked at Ryūsei. "I see our little brave maggot finally decided to enter class." He proclaimed, with a smirk on his face.

Ryūsei: "Hi Prof. Hex...." Ryūsei embarrassedly proclaimed as the whole classroom looked at him. He was extremely embarrassed, he hasn't attended class in a while now.

Professor Hex then starts the lecture for today's class which was all about enchantment and chanting healing spells. After a while of teaching the class was dismissed for today's lesson but he had an announcement to make before the physical exercise could start.

Prof. Hex: "Listen up Maggots!!! As all of you should know, next week will be the day the Grand Shōtotsu event will start." He announced. The whole class then began cheering, they were extremely excited to participate in the grand event.

Prof. Hex: "All Chīma's over the Elemental World shall compete against one another in this grand event." He then grabs a map of the Elemental World from under his desk and posts it on the blackboard.

"The Kingdom of Ryūgū, The Northern Palace, The Eastern Empire, Southern Sanctuary and the Western Temple." He slowly proclaimed as he pointed to the locations of the 5 Kingdoms.

Kayosha: "Talk about a lot of contestants..." Kayosha muttered in shock, she finally realized how big the event actually was. "The more I can beat up." Kasai loudly proclaimed, causing Sora to happily laugh at his statement.

Kasai: "Since when did you start actually listening to history class?" Sora happily teased. "Starting now babe!!!" Kasai happily teased back, causing Sora to look away from embarrassment.

The Kingdom of Ryūgū, Also known as the "Land Of Dragons". The Kingdom is greatly known for our Dragon Sages throughout the Elemental World as most of the Elementalist who wields the power to cast Dragon Art originated from our Kingdom.

The Northern Palace, Also known as the "Land Of Water". The Northern Palace is located North from the Kingdom of Ryūgū. The Northern Palace is known for their skillful water-based Elementalist and is also the place where water-based Elementalist go to train.

The Southern Sanctuary, Also known as the "Land Of Fire". The Southern Sanctuary is located south from the Kingdom of Ryūgū. The Southern Sanctuary also developed skillful Fire-based Elementalist throughout the years and is also the place where fire-based Elementalist go to train.

Next up is the Eastern Empire, Also known as "The Land Of Earth". The Eastern Empire is located east from the Kingdom of Ryūgū. The Eastern Empire also developed skillful Earth-based Elementalist throughout the years.

And finally, The Western Temple also known as "The Land of Air". The Western Temple is located west from the Kingdom of Ryūgū. The Western Temple is known for developing unrivaled Air-based Elementalist.

Prof. Hex: "It's best that you'd do your best at the Grand Shōtotsu. Show everyone that you'd have what it takes to make an impact at the Elemental World" He proclaimed, looking at his students. "Show them what you're capable of" Prof. Hex added as he dismissed his students from them to take their lunch.

As the students celebrate that it's lunch time. The gang gathers near the door of the classroom. Kasia then slowly approaches Ryūsei. "Is something wrong Ryūsei??" He slowly asked.

Ryūsei: "Why aren't you going to the Southern Sanctuary???.....'' Ryūsei quickly asked, looking at his best friend. "I mean you'll get even stronger by just going there....." He added.

Kasai: "That may be true....but how could I see my best friend everyday if I just go to the Southern Sanctuary." Kasai happily replied, showing a big smile on his face. "Besides I also have a reason why I wanted to stay" Kasai happily proclaimed as he looked at Sora but Ryūsei was confused on what the heck he was saying.

(At the Cafeteria)

Ryūsei and the gang meet up at their usual lunch table to eat. They all sat down and began to eat. After a while of eating "Have you guys heard, There's going to be a powerful Elementalist in the tournament." Shadow proclaimed as he continued to eat.

"Really?? A boy or a girl???" Kasai curiously asked while continuing to eat. "Is gender really important???" Kayosha asks as she glares at Kasai. "A boy" Shizen quickly replied because he knew what'll happen next. "It's said he just started taking in quest but completed only A to S-Rank quest." He proclaimed, shocking everyone except for Yuki who wasn't worried at all. After eating their lunch Ryūsei then heads outside the school to get fresh air and starts to walk across the Kingdom.

Ryūsei: "I wish you were here..." Ryūsei quietly muttered. "I need to find you..... my Chīma..." He added before he heard a familiar voice.

Kayosha: "Is something bothering you???" Kayosha asked, holding two cans of soda in her hands. "Oh... hey... Kayosha....." Ryūsei replied. Kayosha then gives one of the sodas to Ryūsei which he humbly accepts.

Kayosha: "Hey Ryūsei, Are you okay???" Kayosha asked while taking a sip of the soda. "You are not acting like your usual self ever since you've returned" She added while looking at him with a concerned look.

Ryūsei: "I'm fine you don't have to worry Kayosha," Ryūsei happily proclaimed, giving a warm smile on his face. "It's just that... Sometimes I wonder when I would meet my Chīma" He added but with a depressed tone.

Kayosha: "You don't have to be sad about it Ryūsei, After all like mom always say "Everything happens for a reason it's up to us on how we're gonna face the scenario up ahead" She happily proclaimed, trying to cheer up her best friend. "So don't show me that sad and uncool version of you" She pouted. "Thank you Kayosha, I really need that," Ryūsei happily replied.

After a while of walking around the Kingdom, Ryūsei and Kayosha returned back to the Aluxany High School and P.E was about to start. As the whole class lined up in the training area, Professor Hex was in front of them. He yelled, grabbing all of our attention. "Shut up Maggots!!! Today, You'll have a Shōtotsu in order to prepare you for the  upcoming Grand Shōtotsu-" He was cut off by a familiar voice but his name didn't occur to Ryūsei until he turned around.

Ryūshi: "Hello again Ryūsei" Ryūshi happily greeted, shocking everyone in the room. "Ryū-" Ryūsei yelled, before Ryūshi put his finger on his mouth telling him to be quiet.

Ryūsei: "Hey there, Ryū What are you doing here????" Ryūsei asked, trying to lie about Ryūshi's presence. He was still shocked as he couldn't believe who was standing in front of him in person.

Ryūshi: "He's a horrible liar, just like Akashino… Those two really are the same.." Ryūsei happily muttered in thought. Prof. Hex and the other students began looking at Ryūshi. They didn't notice his presence till he spoke up. They were indeed cautious of him. 

Prof. Hex and the other students began sensing how powerful Ryūshi's energy is exactly. Prof. Hex was shocked, the energy he sensed was… limitless. Some of the students who tried to sense Ryūshi energy fainted because of the overwhelming pressure Ryūshi's energy gave. The students then began

"How much energy does he even have…"

"Almost half of the class fainted trying to sense his energy…"

"How powerful is he??" 

Prof. Hex: "You over there, What's your name? What business do you have with my student?" Prof. Hex asked, looking at Ryūshi.

He was indeed cautious, he never met anyone with this amount of immense energy, He was indeed convinced that the person he's looking at is stronger than all the Gadiāns combined.

Ryūshi: "My name is Ryu" Ryūshi replied, continuing Ryūsei's lie. He knows very well that his identity must not be revealed to the public.

Prof. Hex: "Last Name" Prof Hex asked, looking at Ryūshi. "Shitetsu" Ryūshi replied, shocking everyone. The students then began to mutter.

"Isn't that the last name of the 1st Grand Elementalist"

"Is he one of his descendants… That must explain his immense power"

Ryūshi: "Oh crap… I forgot… That's Akashino's last name" Ryūshi mutters in thought.

Prof. Hex: "Shitetsu huh? Any relation to the 1st Grand Elementalist" Prof. Hex asked, growing more suspicion on Ryūshi.

Ryūshi: "I have no relation nor any direct bloodline to the 1st Grand Elementalist" Ryūshi replied. "I came here to watch the upcoming Grand Shōtotsu, And I'm thinking of participating in the Grand Shōtotsu as well," Ryūshi happily added, shocking everyone in class. He then slowly walks toward Prof. Hex.

Ryūshi: "I sincerely apologise for disturbing your class Prof. Hex. But if it's okay with you that if you excuse Ryūsei from your class today, I'd like him to be my tour guide around the Kingdom." Ryūshi happily requested. 

Prof. Hex: "I'll allow it" Prof. Hex quickly replied, even though he has suspicion, he has no choice but to listen to a guest request.

"Ryūsei, Let's go then I'd like the tour now to begin." Ryūshi proclaimed and both of them left the school building and headed out to the Kingdom.

Ryūsei: "So um... Ryūshi, where would you like to start???" Ryūsei asked while they continued to walk around the Kingdom.

Ryūshi: "It's okay Ryūsei, You don't need to tour me, It was actually a bluff to get you out of your class." Ryūshi replied.

Ryūsei: "Wait what??! You came to my classroom just so you can get me out of school?" Ryūsei asked once again, he was in disbelief.

Ryūshi: "Yup, No offense but it's been hundreds of years since I last visited a classroom, and your class reminded me of how boring it was" Ryūshi proclaimed, causing Ryūsei to laugh.

Ryūshi: "Although, I apologise for knocking out most of your classmates" Ryūshi added.

Ryūsei: "Oh yeah, What happened back there? Why did some of my classmates get knocked out when you arrived?" Ryūsei curiously asked.

Ryūshi: "They were trying to sense how powerful my energy is exactly, they got knocked out when the pressure overwhelmed their mental state" Ryūshi proclaimed.

Ryūsei: "They were knocked out because they tried to sense your energy?!!" Ryūsei asked in disbelief and Ryūshi nodded in response.

Ryūshi: "Yes, Energy sensing is actually a high skill technique. Truth be told, I'm actually surprised that your generation could sense energy at that age" Ryūshi proclaimed.

Ryūshi: "Although I don't recommend young Elementalist trying it out at a young age, it takes a lot of pressure when you're trying to sense someone with a lot of energy," Ryūshi added.

Ryūsei: "Why? It's not like it could do much harm" Ryūsei proclaimed.

Ryūshi: "Well it isn't dangerous, but you saw what happened to half of your classmates, Even a Gadiān couldn't sense an energy from a Crowned Dragon" Ryūshi proclaimed.

Ryūsei: "Wait, a Gadiān can't sense your energy?" Ryūsei asked.

Ryūshi: "They can, but it's not accurate. They'll only sense something similar to limitless energy" Ryūshi proclaimed.

Ryūshi: "Anyway, I actually came here to warn you of the upcoming danger about to take place in the upcoming Grand Shōtotsu." He added.

Ryūsei: "What do you mean Ryūshi????" Ryūsei worriedly asked. "A few days ago,I felt a strange disturbance of power that occurred in the universe. I was traveling to a nearby planet in the cosmos when I suddenly felt a tremendous amount of energy appearing out of nowhere on Planet Ryūgū." Ryūshi replied, shocking Ryūsei.

Ryūsei: "Is it Quintela??? If it is her then we must stop her-" Ryūsei worriedly asked but was soon cut off by Ryūshi. "No.... because one of those tremendous amounts of energy I sensed...." He then looks at Ryūsei. "It was similar to yours Ryūsei..." He added.

Ryūsei: "What do you mean???" Ryūsei confusedly asked. "The tremendous energy I sense was similar to your Elemental Art but somehow it's a little bit different." Ryūshi replied.

Ryūsei: "Could it be my Chīma???" Ryūsei happily asked. "I don't think so, Ryūsei... Because if it was your Chīma then why did I sense two more energies" Ryūshi replied.

Ryūsei: "Two more energies?" Ryūsei confusedly asked.

Ryūshi: "One of them has a tremendous amount of energy, If a Gadiān manages to sense it, They would have passed out" Ryūshi proclaimed.

Ryūsei: "That Elementalist must be really strong then…" Ryūsei asked and Ryūshi nodded.

Ryūshi: "But unfortunately there was a lot of negative energy dwelling inside the Elementalist." He added.

Ryūsei: "Negative Energy?" Ryūsei worriedly asked. "Energy similar to a Demon" Ryūshi replied, shocking Ryūsei.

Ryūshi: "The second one is the Elementalist I was talking about. The Elementalist has a similar energy to you Ryūsei, and a tremendous amount of energy in fact." Ryūshi proclaimed. "Luckily I don't sense any negative energy inside of the Elementalist for now but we can't tell if they're friend or foe." He added.

Ryūsei: "But I don't sense anything???" Ryūsei confusedly asked, "Your sensing ability is too weak Ryūsei," Ryūshi replied. 

Ryūshi: "It takes a lot of skill in order to sense energy from a far distance and it takes even more skill to differentiate it from negative and positive energy" Ryūshi proclaimed.

Ryūshi: "Besides, you can't sense them anymore. They lowered their energy so that they would fit in with the Elemental World." He added.

Ryūsei: "Then what about the third one? You said there were three of them." Ryūsei curiously asked. "You don't have to worry about the third one. He's an old friend of mine" Ryūshi proclaimed with a happy smile.

Ryūsei: "Then what's the plan Ryūshi???" Ryūsei curiously asked, looking at Ryūshi.

Ryūshi: "There's an upcoming Grand Shōtotsu taking place right?" Ryūshi asked and Ryūsei nodded his head in response. "Our plan is to lure them into us using the Grand Shōtotsu as bait," Ryūshi replied.

Ryūsei: "Isn't that a little too boring?" Ryūsei asked. "We're not even sure if they're that powerful," He added.

Ryūshi: "Never underestimate your opponents Ryūsei '' Ryūshi proclaimed. "A little mistake could turn the tide of an entire battle, no matter how strong you may be" He added.

Ryūshi: "And unfortunately to us, We're in a dangerous situation right now" Ryūshi proclaimed. "We can't underestimate them, especially with their abilities," Ryūshi added, shocking Ryūsei.

Ryūsei: "Abilities??" Ryūsei asked in confusion. "Abilities are generally based upon Elemental Arts" Ryūshi proclaimed. 

Ryūshi: "If you have the ability "Divine Protection" because of your Elemental Art. What would happen if an Elementalist has a similar Elemental Art to yours?" Ryūshi asked, shocking Ryūsei, making him realize how dangerous the situation they're in.

Ryūsei: "That Elementalist might have "Divine Protection" as well." Ryūsei replied in shock.

Ryūshi: "If we plan to stop them, we must join the Grand Shōtotsu" Ryūshi proclaimed, shocking Ryūsei. Is he saying what Ryūsei thinks he's saying?

Ryūsei: "Ryūshi..... You don't mean what I think you mean" Ryūsei curiously asked. 

Ryūshi: "You got it right Ryūsei, A temporary Chīma between us two until this problem is dealt with." Ryūshi happily replied.
