Chapter 34

Three hours after Hana left the village the villagers had begun to panic because they couldn't find her. They all searched the village and places she would usually go to like the forest. The one that had a different approach was Zeke. He went to the shed that Hyogo was staying at. It was obvious why since in Hana's 21 years she had never left the village but now that he had come she suddenly leaves of course he would be the most suspicious. When he arrives he doesn't bother to knock but to open the door right away.

Hyogo: "Hey you took longer than I expected."

Hyogo greeted him with an arrogant tone.

Zeke: "Where's Hana if you were expecting me to come you must know where she is right."

As he spoke he had an irritated tone as he was impatient and wanted to know where his sister was as soon as possible.

Hyogo: "I sent her to the lightning biome to bring my comrades here since I needed her to tell them I needed them to come for me."

Zeke: "How could you let her go to that place by herself?! You should know how dangerous magic biomes are!"

Hyogo: "Don't worry she won't be entering it. My friend's spirit led her to the biome and she'll just be waiting outside to lead them here. Since the spirit's memory isn't great they won't be able to remember the way all the way here but it'll be able to to bring them to her."

Zeke: "… What are you talking about?! If the spirit is contracted to your friend they could have told them your location by communicating through telepathy. All spirits can do that. What are you trying to do!"

Hyogo: "…"

Zeke: "Answer me!"

Hyogo: "It seems I messed up. I didn't think you would know that. But it doesn't matter anymore, it's too late for you now."

Zeke: "What do you mean?"

Hyogo: "I'm saying it doesn't matter that you know now since my comrades should arrive here soon. The reason why I sent Hana away was so she wasn't here for when we atta—"

Zeke did not let him finish his sentence as he attacked Hyogo with his ice magic creating a lance aimed at him. Hyogo quickly destroyed it by shooting a bolt of lightning from his mouth.

Hyogo: "No need to struggle after all what can you do. You out of everyone should know that the people in this world are inferior to us. We were chosen by God unlike you."

He didn't listen to him, instead he took a step to get closer within the small distance between them. He created a sword in his right hand and swung his sword of ice at him but it was useless. Hyogo destroyed it easily as well with his water magic creating a power stream of water releasing it from his mouth. After destroying the ice sword Hyogo lifts his left leg and releases a strong gust of wind with his magic and cuts off Zeke's right arm. Zeke screams in agony from losing his arm but he quickly comes back to his senses and stops himself from losing more blood by covering his wound with ice. While Zeke covered his wound Hyogo came closer to him in kicking distance and kicked him with his left leg that carried wind magic that contained a vast amount of wind magic strong enough to cut down a thick tree. Zeke tried to block it with a layer of ice magic on the side he was going to get hit on but it wasn't enough to stop the attack. He got split in half with the top half of his body getting sent flying but ended up hitting the ceiling creating a hole in it. The top half of the body did fly up but quickly fell back straight down to the shed creating another hole in the ceiling as it crashed through it landing on the floor. The blood from Zeke's sprayed everywhere getting onto Hyogo as well. It was a quick death to say the least. Zeke didn't even have time to make a face of pain.

Hyogo: "If only you had faith in God things would have turned out differently for you it's a shame."
