“The Sickness has re-emerged.” Thalia read from the swirl of clouds. “The shamans.” She whispered to herself. The shamans of the Garden Kiosk has called for Halad, eight girls who would be offered to the Great gods for peace and healing. It was a long preparation for the Halad and the end of the Sickness will soon be witnessed. Only that, a Halad escaped.
