The Sneaky Sketch (1)

~•Aden•~

A strong gush of warmth knocked my senses over when I saw her acting like a scared little kitten. She didn't look like the headstrong woman whom I was used to having around, rather she acted meek. The fact that we were stuck in a room which was packed with students might have helped my situation a little.

"Aden? Don't even think about it?" Her threatening words made their way into my ears, but my mind decided to tune them out. Maybe because it knew that not only did she have her guards down, she was clearly the one at the disadvantage then.

Her words only made me smile wider and brighter. She continued to stare back at me cautiously for a while before her eyes trailed off. They roamed around the filled hall before coming to a stop on the front of the class where they lingered for a couple of seconds, probably observing the professor. It didn't take them long to snap back to me.
