Chapter 49: Objections and Morale

Per an agreement between Cryson Corporation and the Order of the Fallen Star, I agreed to participate in a special mission. It's in the deserts of the Kamir region. It was located near the border of Hispania and the continent of Arabia. The mission was a strictly classified one. Due to the nature of the mission, I had to ensure it was with the best.

Ludwig, as usual, belonged to the support group. He was more like a coordinator and the leader of the communications. As part of the command staff, he relayed everything I needed to fulfill the mission. 

Chico and Bruce were with me on the front line.

Their stares, saying to me that "I shouldn't belong to the front lines," marked their faces as they wished for me to be safe. Not a chance in their life that I'll sit this one. A challenge is what I wanted, and I wouldn't want to be confined in the four corners of the command room.
