The Dragon God of Tyranny(DxD)

“Why did I start killing?” Once asked this question by a associate, Mark Nathaniel Anderson, Grand Master Assassin had a few answers. “Anger at the world? Revenge for what happened to me? Because I am insane? Because I am a twisted monster? All are correct, but most importantly because it’s fun.” When it was finally his turn to die, by a stroke of luck, he was reborn in a new stolen body that had a treasure in the form of Ddraig. His new friend and mentor. His new path, the path of Dragons and Tyranny was set in stone. (MC is a ruthless hypocrite and a womanizer.)

Laevatein The Dragon of Time's Sword and Calypso.

Hephestus in his Divine Form hammered the three metals into the sword causing it to grow in shape. Right now he was just adding in the metal and only once this was done would he begin the true forging.

Piece by piece he added the three metals he was given to work with which all had special properties boosted with the flames of Mark. This made them perfect to be added to the sword itself. Runeas and Rias both watched on with curiosity to the work of the god of Blacksmiths.

His face was one of total concentration like the only thing that mattered was his work. His blows struck down with the force of a mountain shaking the entire room. However, on the opposite end, Mark's flames caused the whole room to heat up.

If not for the runes being used the room and castle would be melting. He hammered hundreds of blows into the blade until he incorporated all of the metal he had on hand causing the sword to reach nearly a staggering 12 feet long(3.6 Meters).

Once this step was done, Hephestus raised the sword with ease and stuck it back into the forge. Now that all the material was in place he could begin the true forging of the blade making it something worthy of a Heavenly Dragon.

All the while the more agony Kronus' soul was in. A Divine being's symbol of power was not just a powerful weapon, it was who they were as a being. Losing it would be like losing a part of your soul and that was exactly what was happening.

Hephestus looked as the giant sword grew hotter and hotter until he felt it was perfect. He drew it out of the forge and placed it on his anvil. With one half of the sword sticking off the end. Then, with blows stronger than a power hammer he struck the middle of the blade causing it to begin to bend.

He followed this bend until the entire sword folded on itself. He then forged this back into a single piece of metal and reheated the blade to do it again. He needed to get all the metals inside to be spread out evenly so this technique was crucial.

As this would be a large blade he would have to do this several times, but he was more than patient as each folding would spread the metals evenly. Only perfection was allowed as he used his entire life's skills to do this. Even his Divinity was pushing him to do even better than before.

Over and over he folded and forged the sword until the 100th fold he felt it was time. He drew the sword out of the forge and grabbed the orb that contained Mark's, Bone Marrow. He cracked it open and poured the golden liquid on the blade.

The moment he did so, the blade drank in the marrow causing the already hot blade to burn bright gold. Seeing this, Hephestus hammered the blade thousands of times to get its shape perfectly.

He made sure that the power of the Marrow was fully integrated into the sword. And after several hours of work, did he finally put down his hammer? He lifted the sword and placed it inside the tub of Mark's blood.

The instant he did so, the sword fired to life, and drank the blood greedily. When all of the blood was gone, the giant blade flew out of the tub and toward Mark. He stopped pouring his flames into the forge as the sword floated in front of him.

He took in the giant blade once the heat died down. The blade was huge, 3 meters in size. It was also thick, with a razor-sharp edge. Along its black body was a bright red pulsing vein. Mark returned to his human form as the sword floated down toward him.

He reached out and grabbed the handle feeling the connection form with the blade. The now Living Blade. He held the sword up and placed his forehead against the sword. He felt it, the power the sword had. Lightning, Death, Water, Fire, Earth, Lava, Poison, Acid, Space, and Time. Every power he had along with the ones of the metals used to give it shape.

"Laevatein, that shall be your name."

The moment he named the sword, the blade by itself burned the connection to Kronus in a heartbeat replacing it with Mark's. If Mark was a god, this would be his symbol of power. His weapon, his other half, the weapon that represented him.

[Now this is a weapon.]

Hephestus returned to normal and felt his pride as a blacksmith soar. After completing such a weapon, he felt himself grow more skilled, more powerful.

"Sir, you got to let me make more for you."

Mark rested the sword on his shoulder and nodded.

"Of course, you will. You will get many more chances to work."

Unlike Iron, not much came off the sword so all of the metal used was still in the sword. But Mark had much more where that came from as while Zeus cheaped out on paying him, Poseidon and Hades had not.

"I got more of stuff to use you know. Rias, Runeas, you two want something. They will be powerful weapons you know."

Runeas thought about it and had an idea.

"I want a special crown. The one I wear is a magic item that increases my focus and intelligence."

Mark laughed.

"Yeah, you would need one."

Tick marks appeared on her forehead as he called her dumb. Hephestus looked at the crown she wore and already had something in mind.

"Done, I will use yours as a start when I can. Now, how about you girl?"

While she had gotten stronger, Rias was still not very strong. She would need time, a lot of time before she could catch up to Runeas, Mark, and the gods.

"I think a magical necklace would be nice. What kind of abilities can it have?"

Hephestus smiled.

"Anything and everything you could think of. If it is an enchantment I know it, if it is an ability I can make it. Just think about it as I will always be available to work with Mark's flames.

Rias nodded.

"I will think it over."

Mark dropped the sword which turned into dark smoke. The sword became a black bracelet on his wrist which meant he never needed to seal it away. For now, the consciousness in the sword was young and needed time to mature before it would be conversation ready.

Now that his weapon was complete, Mark needed to begin preparing for when they dethroned Zeus.

"Hephestus, what gods would be willing to turn on Zeus?"

Hephestus reached into a pocket and pulled out a list. He walked over to Mark and handed it over to him.

"Here, a list of names of gods who would not stay loyal to Zeus when we begin."

Mark read the list of names and decided he would speak to the gods one by one on his own time. Once Zeus was alone and his friends were outfitted with new stronger symbols of power they would overthrow him.

Mark already knew what he would do with the King of the gods. He rubbed his bracelet with a grin as he would feed the king of the gods to his blade.

"I better get ready to recruit some of them won't I?"

Hephaestus also had someone in mind.

"Hey, what do you think of Atlas?"

Mark perked up.

"Would he work with me?"

Hephestus shook his head.

"Not really, I was asking as he has a daughter. A Titan named Calypso who Zeus keeps trapped on an island. You did say you wanted to recruit some of the Titans, so I recommend her. As the daughter of Atlas and the Titanes Tethys, she is powerful.

She fought in the Titanomachia for her father Atlas, but she is a nice girl. As long as you have her support, I believe convincing her father to work with you would work."

Mark would rather ally himself with Atlas the General of the Titans than kill him. The issue was the loyalty they had to Kronus so if he killed Kronus they would be forced to find a new master. Him.

"Where is the island?"

Hephestus nodded.

"It is hidden by the Fates, BUT, you are a dragon. You are unbound by fate or its curses. Here."

Hephestus reached into his pocket and pulled out a crystal from the island.

"Here, with this, you will be able to sniff out the island."

Runeas laughed.

"So he is going off his nose?"

Hephestus nodded.

"Dragons have some of the best noses around."

Mark brought the crystal up to his nose and smelled it deeply. He closed his eyes and when he opened them he was focused.

"Found it."

Hephestus crossed his arms.

"When are you going?"

"Right now."

Hearing that made him laugh.

"Good idea. Treat her well, she is a nice girl."

Runeas stopped him before he left.

"Why such hurry?"

Mark shrugged.

"Better get to her before the other Titans do. And I happen to be a hero at heart."

Runeas fell on the floor laughing while Rias wished him good luck.

"Good luck Mark."

He nodded as he teleported away in a flash of silver and red that appeared over the ocean. In one motion he returned to his giant dragon form and with a flap of his wings blasted off into the sky. Every flap of his wings sent shockwaves with their power as he blasted off.

His nose led the way toward the phantom island which was hidden from most.

'Fate, a useless thing to us dragons aye Ddraig.'

[You're right. We dragons rule ourselves with no one to command us. Now do as you please and take the girl for yourself.]

'You say that like I want her for my harem?'

[Don't you?]

'No.'

[Liar.]

'Maybe.'

Mark laughed as Ddraig knew him well. His Red Dragon instincts to have the best raging just like they did with Rias. Mark covered hundreds of miles of ocean with just a few flaps of his wings. When he found the island which was hidden from view, by the Fates he simply flew through their wards without care.

He tucked his wings and flew down into the ocean itself causing an explosion of steam. He swam toward the shoreline before he surfaced and he arrived at the shore. His giant body overlooked the not-very-big island looking for Calypso.

When he found her she was tending to a big garden. She was stuck staring at him as this was her first visitor for her. Mark carefully walked onto shore and looked at her.

"Are you Calypso?"

She nodded with a still surprised look.

"Ah, good. I found the right person. I am Mark, a Dragon who has come to free you."

She shook her head to snap out of it as she spoke.

"Free me? Why?"

Mark created a large Bounded Field to keep what he said secret.

"Simple, The Titans are rising and they want to overthrow Zeus. I plan to do the same so while I and the Titans are not allies, I plan to work with a few of them. Your father is one of them and you would help me to speak to him. Simple enough?"

She nodded.

"I get it, but how did you get here? The Olympians and the fates keep everyone they do not send me as punishment away."

Mark laughed.

"I am a dragon, unbound by their foolish fate. Anyhow, do you want to leave or not?"

Calypso wanted to say yes, but would she really trust the words of a giant dragon? Seeing how she was reluctant, he returned to his human form. He walked toward her garden and stood outside of it.

First, he looked at the plants in the garden as he had some basic knowledge of plants. He had a small garden where he raised toxic plants for his many poisons, but now he could make them in his own body.

As for Calypso's garden, she had arbors covered with six different colors of roses, lattices filled with honeysuckle, and rows of grapevines bursting with red and purple grapes. All full of mana which he could see. Once he saw the garden he looked at her in question.

"I can get not trusting the words of a stranger especially a giant dragon like me so, how about now? I would think looking at my human self would be better than my true self."

Calypso as she was kneeling in her garden looked up at Mark's face. She had to say that Mark looked to be around 20 to 23 years old. He was very tall much taller than she was as he was almost 7 feet tall. His face was covered in a black beard, but it was kept short. He had no mustache, and his facial features were sharp, yet handsome.

She could not see his eyes past his sunglasses, but she had to say he looked very handsome to her. When that thought entered her mind she shook her head as her curse began to act up again. The Fates cursed her to fall in love with any 'hero' who washed up on her island and Mark met that condition.

Despite being a dragon, not a hero, the curse of the Fates tried to act anyways. Even though he just flew onto the island instead of washing ashore on it. When he smelled that he was curious.

"I felt how your feelings toward me just changed. It's like you are falling in love eith me, why? How?"

Calypso looked away red-faced and explained.

"The fates placed a curse on me to fall in love with those who come here which is why they don't come often. Maybe once every 1,000 years and they can never stay. That is my curse to punish me over and over with a broken heart as they never stay."

Hearing the broken heart part made Mark remember how his mother died. So that hit close to home.

[That is quite sad. Love is something that should be one's choice not forced on someone.]

She had to agree.

"It is cruel. But that is my curse for fighting on the side of my family in the war. We just lost."

Mark walked into the garden careful to not step on any of the plants. He held his hand out to Calypso.

"Well then, it's a good thing I am here then. We dragons do as we want when we want and how we want. We are unbound by fate so my freeing you is my own choice. I just ask you to help me speak to your father when the time comes."

She reached out and held his hand which he used to pull her up. He lifted her in his arms in a princess carry and smiled. Stolen Princess acquired.

"So, shall we go?"

She blushed as she looked up at his face. He was so strong and big that he made her feel small.

"You ruffian dragon."

He laughed.

"I am a Red Dragon, not a ruffian."

She yelled out in shame at this.

"That is even worse. Besides, if I leave I would lose my power"

"No, you won't."

Calypso looked at him confused.

"What do you mean?"

"I am taking you out power and Immortality intact. Now, get ready."

Mark sent his mana into her body and made sure to break the curses she had on her. When he reappeared in the forge room Hephestus, Rias and Runeas all looked at him with Calypso in his arms.

"Got her."

He set her down with her powers intact.

"I, am still a Titan?"

"I said you would so you are."

Hephestus walked over and smiled.

"I am glad you are free at last."

She bowed to him.

"Yes Lord Hephestus, but why are you here?"

Hephaestus with pride beaming explained.

"I am the personal smith of Mark now. My loyalty is no longer to Zeus and I suggested him to get you to help him speak to your father."

"You told him?"

He nodded.

"Yes."

She was happy to be free at last, and she rushed into Mark's arms. Just as a smile was on her face she heard a cough. She looked over and saw Runeas staring at her.

"Hey, that there is my man."

Rias raised her hand as well.

"And mine."

Hearing that made Calypso look up at Mark who grinned.

"I forgot to mention that we Dragons are harem-loving. Sorry."

She stopped hugging him as she looked away mad.

"Oh, I see."

For some reason seeing her mad made him not feel good.

"Hey, what is with that? Why are you mad at me when you were just happy?"

She refused to look at him.

"No reason."

Runeas walked over and grabbed Calypso's hand.

"Come on. Rias come along."

Before Rias or Calypso could say anything Runeas teleported them away. When they were gone Hephestus looked at Mark with a grin.

"We Gods and Titans are not too open to sharing."

Mark shrugged.

"You Greek gods cheat like no one's business. Joining my harem is better than your excuses for a marriage."

"Fair, just look at my ex-wife."

Mark nodded as he had things to do.

"Yeah. Anyways, I am going to my room."

Hephestus nodded.

"Alright, I will return to Olympus and bring the rest of my stuff here. You don't mind right?"

Mark shook his head.

"Nah, take a room for yourself. The Castle is gigantic."

"I will. Thank you, sir."

Once he did that Mark teleported into his beddroom and saw that Runeas, Rias, and Calypso were already here. They were sitting on the bed talking about him. Seeing him here made Runeas wink at him.

He sighed as he expected something like this from the trouble maker.

I like Calypso in the Books. I felt it was a shame the punishment she got so why not give her the best of the best husband.
