Playing A Game With Grandmother.
"Have you done it?" I asked when Alissa and Vida ran into the room giggling. They were so excited that I knew that the task was been carried out properly.
"You need to see her face?" Queen Alissa asked us. I had no idea because I did not go out with them. If grandmother overheard them talking about prince Edward and Marlena's affair then she must have been on her way to tell the Emperor. Or she was planning something big... The old woman was clever. She will take time before doing anything.
"Yes, I did. It looks like she got the news to deliver to the Emperor" queen Vida laughed. She sat on the bed and spoke "only a fool will go to the Emperor now accusing his dear son who is sick. He will send you to the cold dungeons."
A cold shiver ran through my spine even though I knew she was referring to grandmother. I have been to one of the dungeons beneath the men's quarters. It was my worst experience. A place that I shall never wish to go or see again.
