Queen Ariadne's POV.
Nobody visited me. I stayed in my room like theft. I was accused of one of the most despicable crimes ever. If there was anything that the Emperor frowned at was lies. He told me from the beginning that he hated liars and finds it difficult to forgive them.
I wished I could tell him from the beginning. But I was afraid of this very reaction. He did not care to ask me what happened. Why I lied to them all? His anger clouded his judgement and he locked me to perish in this cold.
I knew that this was grandmother's plan. I wondered what was her next move…how long has she been planning this? Who was it her? There was no way she could achieve this.
I took off my gloves and sat on the bed. My legs were trembling. I could not walk or staged on them. My eyes were on the doorknob the whole time.
