She choked to death after drinking a mouthful of cold water. Was there anything more unlucky than this? Of course, there was! When she reopened her eyes, she found herself transmigrated into a three-hundred-pound fatty. Not only was she fat and round, but she also had a palm-sized black spot on her body. She looked down at the layers of swimming floats on her body and swore to exercise and lose weight. She had just lifted her leg when she collapsed to the ground. This time, she was prepared to go on a diet and lose weight. When she heard the earth-shattering rumbles from her stomach, she held herself back. She had not eaten for three days, but she realized that she had only lost one tael. She instantly broke down. Sensing that something was wrong, she checked and realized that she had been poisoned. As a descendant of a family that practiced traditional Chinese medicine, this was a small matter. With acupuncture techniques in her hands, why would she be afraid of a little poison? Before she could succeed in losing weight, the scumbag canceled their engagement and her stepsister came to provoke her. 'It's fine. Staying calm is more important. What? Does he dare to call me an ugly pig, a fat woman, a fatty? This is intolerable!' With her acupuncture skills, she was able to detoxify the poison and become beautiful. Using her competence, she managed to face-slap everyone and lose weight while torturing scum. After accidentally rescuing a chronically ill uncle, he turned out to be her scumbag ex-fiance's uncle. She smiled maliciously and said, "Uncle, you should give yourself to me in return for rescuing your life!" When she saw the scumbag again, she said warmly, "My good nephew, call me Auntie." Persona: Song Jiaren: Vengeful for the smallest grievance, naughty, and cheeky. Yan Cheng: Two-faced, strong, patient, and cunning.

Chapter 1“Murder Attempt"

"The Second Lady is dead. What should we do?"

"Hmph! What are you panicking about? With her death, I will be the one who gets to marry Young Master Yan."

"But what if the madam discovers what we've done?"

"There are no buts. If you dare to tell a soul, you can kiss your brother's medical treatment goodbye."

When two muffled voices reached Song Jiaren's ears, Song Jiaren couldn't help but frown, but she couldn't open her eyes no matter how hard she tried.

After some amount of time, she snapped awake all of a sudden as she gasped for breath and her heart was pounding.

Her surroundings were pitch black. She wriggled her body, which felt extremely heavy, and it ached from time to time.

What was going on?

The last thing she remembered was that she had just received the highest distinguishment in the medical field. She had taken a sip of water right after receiving the award, but choked to death right afterwards.

After such an absurd and sorrowful incident, she could already imagine tomorrow's news headlines being "The Young Medical Genius Chokes to Death on Water".

The door of the room was suddenly flung open, and sunlight shone into the room.

Song Jiaren closed her eyes reflexively. When her eyes adjusted to the light, she saw that she was lying on the ground. There was a young woman in a white dress standing at the door. Her physical appearance was demure, but the fierce expression on her face gave her a different vibe.

"Ghost… a ghost!"

A shrill shriek sounded from behind the young woman. It was only then that Song Jiaren saw another young woman standing behind the young woman. After she saw that Song Jiaren had woken up, she fled in fear. Only the young woman and Song Jiaren were left staring at each other in the room.

Song Youyou looked at Song Jiaren, who was on the ground, and the vicious look on her face disappeared. She asked with concern, "Sis, why are you lying on the ground?"

Song Youyou acted like she was concerned, but didn't try to help her up.

Sis?

Song Jiaren felt a little mystified as she looked at the unfamiliar girl.

Perhaps she transmigrated?

Song Jiaren recalled the muffled voice she had heard earlier and her instincts told her that this young woman wasn't well intentioned.

"I suppose you know best why I'm lying on the ground," she said tentatively.

Song Youyou's expression stiffened as she said, "So you remember everything, don't you, Sis?"

Song Jiaren looked dumbfounded. She didn't know anything, but she couldn't give that away at this moment.

"What do you think?"

Song Youyou's expression was a bit unpleasant, but she didn't panic. She sneered as she said, "So what? No one will believe you even if you tell them. Why didn't you die just now?"

Her tone of voice was filled with resentment as she approached Song Jiaren.

Song Youyou didn't hide her vicious intentions at all. She held a bottle in her hand and approached her. "Sis, now that you're dead, I'm the only daughter of the Song family. You've disgraced the Song family, so why haven't they abandoned you yet? I'm better than you in every aspect, so why do they still want you to marry Young Master Yan?"

Song Jiaren moved her hand discreetly, and when she was about to strike out, she grabbed her hand. When she saw her own palm, Song Jiaren couldn't help but widen her eyes in astonishment.

Was this swollen hand really hers?

Before she could contemplate it any further, Song Youyou pressed the muzzle of the bottle in her hand and a stream of liquid sprayed out like perfume. However, it made Song Jiaren feel dizzy.

The smell made her draw her breath, and her face flushed. She felt like she was suffocating.

Alarm bells went off in Song Jiaren's head. Whatever was in the bottle was poisonous. She had been able to distinguish various herbs from their scents since she was young, but this time, she couldn't tell what the drug inside was.

She felt somewhat suspicious.

The dizziness weakened her grip. Song Youyou seized the opportunity to press the spray in her hand again and smugly waited for Song Jiaren to die.

Song Jiaren bit her tongue to keep herself awake, then at that very moment, she seized the opportunity to flip over and pressed Song Youyou to the ground.

She had deliberately feigned weakness just now in order to get Song Youyou to let her guard down.

She was able to subdue Song Youyou without much effort because of how heavy her body was. She reached out and pinched the hegu acupuncture point on her wrist.

Song Youyou cried out in pain and glared at the chubby Song Jiaren, who was on top of her. The bottle in her hand fell to the side.

"What are you two doing?" The aloof voice of a male sounded.

The two people grappling on the ground turned their heads at the same time. Song Jiaren's eyes lit up at the sight of the handsome young man.

"Song Jiaren, are you trying to bully Youyou even though you're injured?"

Before Song Jiaren could ponder the meaning of his words, she was flung to the ground by him.

I reviewed the first part of this novel, so other people wouldn't have to read it: FAT SHAMING EVERYWHERE. I needed to check since this important tag was left out of the description. However, the MC doesn't only shame people who struggle with weight by calling them ugly. She also says that people who are recovering from illness and having some activity are ugly, people with marks on their faces are ugly, and those who work hard are ugly. She is SUPPOSEDLY someone who did some great medical research and got a reward for it. The background suggests she might have been a pharmacologist instead of a medical doctor, but it's unclear at this point. Instead of going into research because she liked it, it is painfully obvious she does not have the respect owed to patients and even abhors those who have struggles with her weight. Although she's supposed to know a lot, she has the naive idea that dieting and exercise are all that's needed to lose weight. Should she really be skipping meals when the body literally died the previous day? Doesn't it need strength in order to recover? Not in this series because it's better to be dead than to have some meat on your bones! That said, the storyline and characters thus far are superficial. Although I dropped the series quite earlier than I normally would for writing a review, nothing about it impressed me. The logic was full of holes. The mother who supposedly cares about her never took the host body for a diagnosis or evaluation? Issues like sudden weight gain, especially with a swelling-type distribution, can often be caused by endocrine disorders. Among other things, this would have to be evaluated. This series is too full of hate for those who work hard to improve their health or don't have the ideal Chinese figure. Aside from the narrator hating on everyone for one reason or another, there isn't anything appealing--the plot, characters, setting, and acceptance are painfully weak.

I admit I enjoyed this up until chapter 40. There were the usual suspects - fat shaming, beauty = value, but they weren't as egregious as other webnovels - but after chapter 40 the quality falls dramatically. She goes to live with the ML for A MONTH and it's a timeskip. Then she goes home and NO ONE ASKS WHERE SHE WENT OR WHAT SHE WAS DOING. She skipped school the entire time, didn't see her mother - who cares about her - and NO ONE FOUND THAT STRANGE? What? She returns with HER ENTIRE HEAD WRAPPED IN BANDAGES, and NO ONE COMMENTS ON IT?! It's like the author set this up then completely forgot that other characters would react to someone who looked like the Invisible Man -_- Also, she slimmed down in that one month - it's just casually thrown in and the "reveal" (which isn't a reveal at all) is just slipped in (you wouldn't know if you didn't read carefully). It's ridiculous that she slimmed down in only a month, and it's even more ridiculous that this wasn't set-up properly for the reveal the readers expect -_- And now she's going to a ball at the school which is basically just "Oh, by the way, FL, there's a ball at school tomorrow." ??? That's not how things work? This should have been foreshadowed. I liked the dynamic she FL had with her mother, and the set-up of the relationship with her brother and the white lotus sister was interesting, but they've been completely forgotten about in recent chapters. I'm really not sure what happened, but it's a shame that this has dropped so much in quality.
