"Marry me ..." The handsome man knelt, ignoring the wet floor from the spilled drink that had just fallen.

So many eyes staring in confusion couldn't believe what they saw a handsome man with an athletic body was kneeling before a not-so-beautiful maid who seemed confused by what was currently happening.

It all started this morning, in the morning in Jakarta, as usual, traffic jams could be seen from a distance on the highway.

Nimbly, a girl with messy hair and shabby clothes pedals her bicycle along the sidewalk along the road to the traditional market where she peddles her homemade cakes.

The sun had just risen, but the girl's spirit was not hindered by the morning dew which was still on the leaves.

The girl was named Maya, an orphan who lives with her younger brother and adoptive aunty.

"The house is enormous ..." This was not the first time Maya had seen a mansion with a large courtyard that looked like a palace to her, but never once did she not feel amazed.

Maya was never bored even though she has to sneak into luxurious housing which is only inhabited by people who have lots of money and of course she will get into trouble if they caught her when sneaking, but Maya was used to sneaking up to now and was no longer afraid for now because she has regular customers ready to defend her if she was caught sneaking. That man is now in front of her.

"Just take the change..." Said that handsome man with glasses after receiving the cakes and entered his house quickly.

"Handsome and kind as always," Maya muttered blushing as the man with glasses smiled before finally closing the gate tightly.

"The woman who will marry him must be very happy." Said Maya smiling before finally pedaling her bicycle and rushing out of the luxurious housing.

Maya did not stop being amazed when she saw rows of stately houses that were neatly aligned with different styles like a palace until finally, she arrived at her dream house.

A classic luxury house like a fairy tale.

"I will have a house like this one day," Maya murmured determined after pausing for a moment to stare at the beauty of the luxurious mansion which makes her blood of poverty scream with joy and at the same time feel jealous.

Maya then pulled her bicycle back and continued on her way.

Maya could not turn her face at all until she unconsciously crashed into the luxury car that had just come out of the house.

"My cakes ..." Maya squealed when she saw all the cakes scattered on the street. Maya ignored her bleeding knee because the cake was broken and she couldn't sell it anymore.

Maya almost cried when she saw that the luxury car only stopped for a moment and then drove back as if nothing had happened.

"HEY, BASTARD!!! you have to take responsibility," Maya shouted and immediately got up and drove her bicycle quickly to catch up with the car that had been hit her.

Yes, Maya did fall because of her fault but still, the car was wrong for her because a car is much bigger than a bicycle. A stupid excuse...

"Stop !!!" Maya shouted again, but the driver of the car didn't respond until finally, Maya lost her temper before the car went further, she immediately took a large rock on the side of the road and threw it with all her might until finally making the taillights of the luxury car break and make the car stop.

"Oh my God ..." Maya turned around, she did not expect that the throwing of the stone would cause the car's taillights to break.

Maya carefully then spun her bicycle and drove it quickly leaving the place.

"The taillights broke, sir." Reported the driver after checking the source of the rock crashing sound that he had not previously realized.

The driver still didn't realize that his car had hit the girl who threw stones at their car.

"Check the rear camera. I want the culprit to be found." The man commanded with a face that barely flinched just staring blankly ahead to avoid

"Yes sir..."

"Maya... you already poor why you be stupid too ?! What if the rich man didn't accept it and demanded compensation? Luckily you managed to escape."

Maya looked at her aunty with fear, Mina scolded her after telling her stupid deeds. Now she has to lose and give up the cakes she made and her aunty wasted.

Mina, the chubby aunt is a little fierce and also talkative but even so, Mina and Maya still love each other.

Maya and Mina are not bloodless, but Mina has taken care of Maya and her brother, Arya since they were little. At that time Mina was the butler at Maya and Arya's parent's house, but because both Maya's parents died in an accident and they lost everything and Mina has been taking care of them ever since.

"I'm sorry auntie, I just wanted them to compensate but ..." Maya was unable to continue her sentence as she feels scared at this time because rich people can do anything to poor girls, it seems like she feels very guilty because of the loss she made this morning.

"I will replace the capital money for selling tomorrow and don't wait for me tonight. I will go home and do not tell all this to Arya, he must focus on studying because the test will arrive soon." 

Mina could only sigh at Maya's attitude that chose to run away from her.

Maya has indeed changed a lot, especially seeing her appearance with dark skin due to her frequent sunbathing in the hot sun but her eyes are still round and clear, Maya's eyelashes are also curved and her nose is sharp and her lips are like a heart shape. It's so pretty even though Maya doesn't do any makeup. In Mina's eyes, even though Maya doesn't look as beautiful as before, Maya is still a tough girl and all of that is more than just beautiful.

"Where are you going?" Asked Mina shouted as Maya quickly left when she was busy putting the remaining dough in the kitchen.

Mina tried to catch up with Maya, but Maya had come a long way in pedaling her bike.

"Naughty girl..." Mina grumbled annoyed that Maya always left without even her permission.

"Don't come home too late!" Mina shouted again, but Maya didn't answer and just waved her hand.

The nose line looks firm with lips that are not too thick but full, thick eyebrows, and brownish-black hair, His eyes were sharp as if they had formed the head of an eagle with shady lashes, he looked like a perfectly sculptured sight from the side of the front, His face is blessed with good looks accompanied by a muscular body under a gray suit made by a world-class designer.

But unfortunately, his good looks are not accompanied by a smile on his face that has not been seen since his mother's death.

That cold handsome man is Marven Cakra Rahardi, a twenty-five-year-old man who has become a young director in the kingdom of his family-owned company, namely "The Cakra Group" a company that covers all fields, especially mining, has made it one of the richest people in Asian even though he is still very young.

Marve stared at the screen of his tablet as he turned back the rear camera of his car and found a girl who had broken the glass in his car. 

"Find that woman and hold her accountable," Marve said after returning the tablet to his advisor.

"But she looks like a poor girl, she might ..." Said Bisma again but Marve looked at Bisma with a look that didn't like being opposed now and made Bisma only be able to bow his head and couldn't continue his words.

"She had dared to break it, meaning she could replace it."

Nobody can oppose Marve, that's his vices and if he had said so then Bisma could not say anything but obey even though they are good friends but when working Bisma will be professional. 

"Yes Sir..." Said Bisma before stepping out of the grand minimalist and futuristic Marve office space.

"The poor..." Marve showed a lopsided smile, he hated hearing poor words that made his pride hurt because his father's extended family never accepted his mother because she was a poor girl with no background even to the end of her life she was still disrespected.

Marve continues to feel annoyed and all he can calm himself is to stare at his mother's beautiful face in a picture frame who seemed to smile at him.

Marve's homesickness for his parents, especially his mother, never diminished even though their deaths had long since passed.

Marve was lost in the memory of his past that always brings him sadness, but soon his cell phone rings.

'Old man' The name was printed on Marve's cellphone screen and with a reluctant face, he accepted the phone call from his grandfather.

"You have to come to grandpa's birthday because grandpa has a surprise for you."

"Mmm ... " Marve didn't answer with a definite yes only a reluctant mutter escaped her mouth and then hung up the phone.
