The New Beginning

(this is a story i work on in my spare time to help with my dyslexia. thank you for understanding)

a girl stands under a old oak tree in a remote location with a boy walking up to seeming to meet her.

"so why did you call me here"

"um you know how we've known each other since we were in nursery..."

"just get to the point"

she crosses her arms impatiently

"ok would you like to out with me"

the girl shows a slight smirk

"i see where your coming from but you're a week defect of a adventure. you go to a adventure academy but you're just a human and you're week buy human standers. i don't care if your grandfather is the most powerful adventure in the world your a good for nothing. so i brought some friends to say a couple of words."

all of the girls in the academy walk out from behind the surrounding trees

"we will never date a useless defect like". all the girls say this at once

"so Alister what do you think of our answer"

Alister's eyes look as if all the life has left them. he tilts his head to the side then gives a warm smile then a sudden overwhelming feeling fills his body that makes him feel different

"thanks you all for giving me this gift of your opinions this means a lot to me this wont happen again."

Alister walks away leaving all the girls dazed by his words.

2 months pass and no one has seen Alister.

After Alister left he went home.

"grandfather i want to go into a dungeon"

"what nonsense is this you haven't even awakened yet"

Alister's grandfather looks at Alister then activates a skill

"oh it seems that you have awakened so you really want to go into a dungeon"

"yes grandfather please"

"all right i shall make the preparations for a F rank expedition"

as he gestures to a man in a suit that then leaves the room.

"thank you grandfather"

"oh yeah have this for you when you awaken"

Alister's grandfather hands a dagger to Alister

"oh wow its heavy"

"well it is to be expected as you just awakened"

a man in a suit walks into the room

"sir the preparations are complete the expedition will be tomorrow"

"thank you. you may leave. grandson you must stay safe and if the danger is to much just run i cant loose you like your father"

"yes i know grandfather"

Alister walks up the stairs to his room and softly cry's himself to sleep when Alister awakes a bag site next to his bed of holding and clothes sitting on the bed. and night sky blue cloak a t-shirt trousers boots and a white mask also a note that reeds stay safe grandfather. Alister leaves his room and walks down stairs after getting changed in the cloths where a car waits for him out side so he walks to the car and gets in. after an hour drive they reach a large building that looks like a warehouse.

"i'm finally getting the chance to be worth something"

"this way young master"

Alister grab's his bag and steps out of the car and makes there way inside and walk to the front desk.

"excuse me i would like to check in for a F rank dungeon please"

"please enter your name and rank and level into this sheet please"

"that wont be necessary he is the grandson of golden dragon and we have already filed in the sheet yesterday by the head of the dungeon association and if you need proof this is the family crest"

the man in the suit pulls out a golden amulet with a dragon in the center. the women was taken back the sudden situation and everyone in the main lobby stares and start to whisper insults behind Alister's back

"sir please follow me"

Alister and the men in suits follow behind they walk down a corridor until they reach a door with a sign that reads F rank dungeon property of the golden dragon

"we have reach the dungeon enter the others have already entered"

"thank you miss"

Alister enters the dungeon where it seems that there is a camp at the entrance then a man walks up to him

"hello there are the grandson of the golden dragon Alister"

"yes it'll be a pleasurer to work with you"

"great let me introduce the group the one on the left is Elsyie the elven healer the one next to her is Valkyrie our flame sorcerer the next one in Draco the dragonborn tank and me Dwelvor the dwarven barbarian so what is you class"

"well i don't know"

"well thats a shame so what are you good at"

"i know a lot of monsters and environment that they live in dungeons and I'm good with a knife and hand to hand combat"

"well that sounds good so lets see you stats so that we can find the best place to put you in the group. you do have a properties band don't you"

"i think so"

Alister starts to rummage around in the bag of holding and pulls out a band and places it on his wrist

"properties"

after Alister says this the a window pops up like in a game that displays his stats.

"it's true that you got some good skills but your stats are a bit low for a level 1"

"yeah i at leased had 20 points in all of my stats"

"well Alister i think that it would be best if you where with me and Draco in the front so that you can level up quicker sound good"

"ok then"

"ok everyone we are heading out lets go"

the group make there way the dungeon with Draco in front Dwelvor and Alister behind him and girls in the back. after walking for about 5 minuets they encounter a small group of goblins

"hay Alister you take the ones on the right and i will take the ones on the left ok"

"ok"

"3, 2, 1, GO!"

Alister and Dwelvor charge at the goblins siting around a fire. Dwelvor starts of the battle by cleaving the goblin in half followed by Alister's swift decapitation of a goblin then the last 2 goblins pick up there stone spear and longing at Alister. but Alister narrowly doges it with a slight cut on his cheek but then Alister retaliates with a well placed kick to the goblins neck breaking it killing the goblin but Alister starts to feel a slight numbing sensation in his body falling to the floor.

"Elsyie help Alister"

as he says this he kills the last goblin with a vertical slash cleaving it in half

"ok"

Elsyie runs over to Alister and starts a healing charm. eventually Alister's breathing starts to go back to normal

"kid you need to be more careful"

"i know"

Alister stands up and they start to continue threw the dungeons they encounter multiple different types of goblin groups and clear the first floor of this 2 floor dungeon. after clearing the first floor they stop for a little break and to have something to eat and drink they have this break for about an hour.

"so kid why did you want be an adventure you grandfather is the CEO of the biggest guild in the world so why did you want be an adventure"

"well it was to prove that i have any sort of value "

"why you say that"

"well i only awakened yesterday but before that the hole academy that i was at made fun of me because i was a human and a week one at that but thanks to the law that awakened cant attack humans protected me from the physical attacks but they just mentality attacked me with insults because they sacrificed everything to get into the academy and my grandfather just placed me into it without any conditions that mad a lot of people jealous and angry with me."

"those type of people are just ass holes don't let them get into your head"

"yeah there just jealous that they you have something they don't"

"well it seams like a good time to continue to floor"

they make there way down the stairs where they encounter an small group goblins with a couple of hobgoblins

"ok Alister we need to change our game plan so Draco Alister and me attack first so Draco draws the hobgoblins attention then me and Alister kill the goblins ok."

"yep"

"ok 3, 2, 1, GO!"

Draco charges the hobgoblin pinning them up against the wall wile Alister and Dwelvor rush the goblins. the goblins scramble to get there weapons so Alister and Dwelvor take this time to attack the goblins. Alister attacks the first three with a knife hand to hand combat combo cutting the first goblin slicing it in half then following the flow of the movement round housing the next goblin in the neck snapping it then continuing the flow stabling the last goblin in back of the head then Dwelvor kills the last tow goblins with throwing his axes at them as they try running away as Alister and Dwelvor are killing the goblins Valkyrie fires a fire ball spell at the hobgoblins where Draco doges the blast.

"hay kid finish them of"

"ok"

Alister dashes in then with a swift clean slash cutting the hobgoblins heads of they go threw the dungeon using this tactic un till they find the boss room.

"ok team the boss is up a head so we need to change the game plan so Draco you use your taunt and buff skills so that it's focuse is on you then me and Alister attack from behind while we do that Elsyie you buff us and Valkyrie attack from distance ok lets get started Draco Elsyie buff us."

"ok"

Elsyie starts a mass buss as wall as Draco that increases agility, damage and regeneration

"ok team 3, 2, 1, GO!"

Draco charges into the room with the goblin champion and activate his taunt that makes the goblin champion charge at him...
