The Best Things Are Worth The Wait

"Aiya, look at you! Playing so many online games, aren't you afraid of ruining your eyes!" Xiaoxiao aimed a kicked at the girl in front of a laptop.

"Hmph! It's because I already finished writing my paper already, unlike someone else!" Zhou Lengxin tauntingly stuck her tongue out at her dorm mate.

Xiaoxiao appeared to have just realized that she did not finish writing her research paper and let out a shriek.

"Ya! What are you shouting about so late at night!" The bathroom door kicked open revealing a-

"Ahhh! Monster!" Xiaoxiao ran over to hug Lengxin, "Save me!"

The dorm's eldest was wearing a pink fluffy robe with a towel wrapped around her damp hair, her face coated in a green mud mask.

Wei Lina sat on her bed, "Che!" she huffed and threw a slipper at them. Only her aim was so off, that she ended up hitting Liu Feihong who just entered, spurring a fight between the two.

The battle ended in a stalemate with both parties exhausted.

"Today I saw Senior Xia!" Liu Feihong suddenly exclaimed with a newfound energy causing the other two to immediately sit up straight.

"Hurry hurry, tell us! Where did you see him?"

"Is he really handsome?"

"Hehe, I saw him by the Computer Science building when I was going to the convenience store! Completely deserving of the Campus King title!" Liu Feihong's affirmation was followed by jealous squeals and more questions.

"Computer Science Department? I thought Senior was studying Business and Finance?"

"Don't you know anything? How dare you call yourself a fan! Senior Xia's friends are in Comp Sci!"

"Wah, they must all be outstanding!"

The trio began to realize that the youngest had been silent the whole time.

"Wei, Lengxin ah, what do you think of Senior Xia?"

"Huh? Who's that?" An innocent question was followed by an uproar. You would've thought that she had murdered their families or something.

"This kid, doesn't even know the most popular male at our uni! Don't speak anymore!"

Her elder dorm sisters chastised her for not being connected to the outside world.

"What a waste of a pretty face, can you believe she's never had a boyfriend?"

"So? I have all this free time, why would I want to give it up?" Zhou Lengxin shot back, hugging her dear laptop, "I'm not like Xiaoxiao who goes around chasing men and forgetting to write her paper."

"Hey! Stop bringing that up!"

Another verbal catfight.

Liu Feihong had just returned, so she went to take a shower and prepare for bed, only after telling Wei Lina that she looked frightening and that she better wash off her mask, which she did. Without the crazy outfit, she looked like a normal girl in her twenties.

Their entire dorm was actually filled with beauties, from youngest to oldest: Zhou Lengxin, a cold but sexy beauty, Chen Xiaoxiao, a bubbly and cute girl, Wei Lina had that mature and older vibe that many guys loved, and Liu Feihong was the Design Faculty's prettiest girl.

"Don't talk anymore, I have to wake up early tomorrow." Wei Lina threw a pillow at the light switch with her abysmal aim and obviously missed.

Zhou Lengxin got up to turn off the lights and smacking Lina with her pillow before climbing into bed as well.

As much as she loved to sleep, she had a hard time falling asleep.

'Senior Xia, why did she feel like the name sounded familiar?'

Her unsettled heart did not rest until an hour of tossing and turning in bed.
