His teeth sharpened as he smiled at me.
"I want you to sell mana crystals," his smile almost made me want to step back simply because I wasn't expecting it, "We'll use it as a cover to investigate the towns. Then well free slaves from each, and every one of those towns at our leisure."
"We?" I felt my brow crease in confusion.
"Yes," he stepped forward, "One elf salesman, and his human slave bodyguard."
He leaned over me with that crazy toothy smile. He had to be crazy. He couldn't pass for an elf, and I didn't think he could pass for a slave. His aura completely vanished. A quick tap to each of the crystals made them vanish as well.
If I hadn't witnessed the quick transformation I wouldn't have believed the human in front of me was truthfully a dragon. He still had an air of power about him, but it was something that most elves would just dismiss once they saw a slave collar around his neck. As much as I hated to admit it his plan actually had some solid merit to it. I could easily pass for a low elf. I still couldn't help the feeling that this guy was a little crazy, but for some odd reason I liked this kind of crazy.
"Just one thing left to do first," his attention turned away from me.
He stuck his hand out, and a portal opened up before us.
"Would you like to come?" he asked me.
I shrugged as he stepped through the portal. I followed a half step behind. His long jacket, and tall stature made him seem imposing even for a human. The fact that he didn't have shoes or an actual shirt on didn't take away from that imposing air about him. We were in the middle of one of the academies.
I didn't know which one since I was a promising mage, and had never been to any of them. I was trained at Magnus's personal residence. Nowhere near any of the academies. The fact that my hair was buzzed short, and my ears were once again in a point made it obvious that I had elven blood in me. I kind of wished I had longer hair like before I came here.
It would be easier to hide what I was.
"Stop overthinking it," Wyatt's voice jolted me out of thoughts of hiding my lineage, "Your blood isn't something you should hide. You wouldn't exist without it so get over it."
There was a brief silence, and the sound of shuffling feet as all the students fled the courtyard. I was nervous about standing in the middle of an academy with an army headed this way. There was no way that there wasn't an army headed our way with the way Wyatt had forced a portal open in a place that normally wouldn't allow portals to open. It was only a matter of time before we had a small army come down on our heads, and Wyatt was just standing here waiting for it to happen. He didn't look the slightest bit nervous.
He was waiting there almost impatiently. He tapped his foot silently with a pensive expression. Then he just wasn't in front of me anymore. My clothes whipped around as the wind from his sudden movement hit me. His hand extended, and his aura pulsed to life around just the two of us.
Forming a powerful, and potent barrier around us both. It would take a while for them to break through if they had proper mana weapons. With normal weapons they wouldn't stand much of a chance.
"I didn't come for a fight," Wyatt's voice wasn't load but it somehow seemed to reach the whole courtyard, "I came to talk."
Another bullet slammed into the barrier, and exploded sending shockwaves away from that point. Yet Wyatt's barrier didn't show the slightest sign of weakening. The barrier could take over a dozen more hits like that easily. One wave of Wyatt's hand stilled the air, and silenced the space around us.
"But if you're looking for a fight than I'm more then willing to give you one," He smiled psychotically.
He vanished from in front of me a split second later. When he reappeared he had all four of the snipers from the roofs around us. All four were knocked out cold, and dropped on the ground a second later. Those were just the first to act. Wyatt blocked a spear that was headed to his head.
Catching it in the air before it could slam into his face.
"You really shouldn't aim for the obvious weak point," He smirked as his eyes were drawn to the staff quarters, "Not bad power behind that strike though. You must be pretty high up the ladder."
Wyatt tossed the spear to the side the same way I might toss a useless stick.
"Are you ready?" Wyatt glanced at me.
"Probably not," I answered honestly.
Wyatt shrugged before we were blinked over in front of the man.
"I only came to chat," He raised a brow at the man, "I could have leveled the building the moment I showed up if I wanted to." he smirked at the man, "I simply came to send a message. One I'm sure Magnus wasn't all that willing to relay."
The man just stared at us silently with a skeptical look on his face.
"I want to meet with the leaders of the military in five days," Wyatt continued not seeming to give a shit about the man in front of me, "I want to discuss a temporary cease fire between the forbidden zone that has taken over Greenland, and the rest of the world as well as the possibility of peace in the future."
"You're out of your mind if you think I'm just going to let you leave here," the man's eyes glanced over to me for the first time, "Why is there an elf here?"
"Half elf," Wyatt corrected, "He's a child of one of the human prisoners that the elves took. We can discuss that more on a later date."
Wyatt casually slapped away a huge ball of fire. His eyes locking onto the guy that did it. Recognition flashed in his eyes for a brief moment before a smile split his face. His teeth sharpening. The color of his eyes spread to cover the white, and his pupils turned catlike.
