Opposite of The Light
"I have fallen too many times."
That was every thought that came to mind.
Each time I climbed to the top, I fell...and fell even further.
I tried every inching will I had.
But was it really worth gambling life on?
No. It's a definite no.
"I've once reached the stairs of what I once thought was the door, but to no avail I could not open what was on the other side.
The winners' side. The side that says everything. The purpose of my goal, the place I want to go to.
It may sound dumb....but tell me if I put everything I had that I cherished."
My time.
My effort.
My will to go on.
My mentallity.
My very life.
Was it really worth it? Reaching the top? Reaching higher heights?
Only to fall further down in the dark from every attempt? Every fall that reaches nothing?
Well now that I'm here in the depths of nothing, nothing to look up for in the darkness.
I'll say it.
"It was never really worth chasing the light that had inspired me to reach for power.
It wasn't my fault that I wasn't chosen as a winner, but I still tried didn't I?"
"And now here, bloodied with anger and aching from the nothingness that was once pain. I lay still here in the dark, here in the depths of nothing I lay...nothing to look up for."
