In the Foxfire tribe every 14 winters a ceremony to awaken the younger of the tribes from 12 to 14 to awaken mystic abilities that come from their patron totem the fox spirit which comes in the form of one weapon and one elemental affinity mainly fire, or Beast transformation That shows up on the body as a tattoo that can bring forth the weapon or ability marking them as adults to the tribe.Today is my turn for this as I am 13 winters old.( I guess my turn next the older kids are now done.)

Elder shaman"Evera come Forward child"

"yes elder!"I say as I walk closer to the elder shaman.

" now just as told Do you have the great spirit an offering to bestow you your gift and you should become one of us. " Bringing up the fact that was adopted into this village

"Yes elder right here " I show him the rabbit I caught with a snare"Caught it myself".

"Very well seeing as though you brought something good, but you do know you have to kill it first child?"

I shake my head"I figured it was better offering if I brought it alive and sacrificed it then."As I walk up to the totem altar I quickly kill the rabbit and give it to the offering and say" Great spirit I give this to you to get in your favor and gain your gift."

At first nothing happens and everyone looks wary and distrustful as the elder is about to speak The fire Roars to life and takes the form of a nine-tailed fox shocking all as it begins circling around as if studying me then seemingly nods and enters my body and exits as a small flame twice as small as before.

instinctively I learn what new abilities I have are two swords that can combine into a double saber And the other instead of elemental ability is a mask that allows me to gain the form and powers of 9 Different creatures both their animal and human forms from a game from my last life Pokémon.Before I can do anything else the mask activates the Eevee form Giving me brown hair fox like ears on my head and a tail Hearing more shocked gasping from behind me I turn around to find the villagers bowing to me but The elder is looking a little worried and speaks.

Elder"Oh great spirit I ask you to pass your message and spare of the child for Although she is an outsider I see her as my own and ask you spare her."

Hearing this I couldn't help tearing up a bit as the elder shaman had raised me since I was found I say "gramps it's still me One of my abilities is to change my form" I say as I focus on trying to take the mask off and My transformation disappears as I take it off"It seems I have one transformation for every tail the great spirit had each a different element and beast and human form".

The crowd murmurs then the elder said "truly child then this is a major blessing for us. then I declare you the one most touched by the spirits power to be my disciple a Sham"Shocking both me and the crowd "Hehe got to make up for that slip of gramps don't I ." I whisper as I awkwardly laugh as the old man has a twinkle in his eye"Oh believe it child oh pardon,sham Evera".
