Because of her being a sub species her dragon form bleed over into her human form mainly it's instinct and wild personality especially when in danger due to this she was cast out from her species territory of the Nargacuga clan.

In the clan Growing up she learned to be a master knife thrower and hunter due to the signature ability of the clan's dragon form to launch tail spikes and brought this into human form with the times when her dragon stone was taken from her while in the village, since her banishment she was given a sword and shield to help protect Herself in case the knifes became dull and her dragon stone that was for use as a last resort because When its used her instincts bleed over it doubles them again as a dragon.(especially aggression)

As she was traveling while injured from a turf war between a Rathian and a Zinoger she came across a strange ruin with a coiled dragon statue with 12 animal talismans in it ,Her instincts told her to grab the horse talisman which instantly started healing all her wounds along with the information on all 12 and their abilities. And told her to only take four per person.

so she took the strength to better combat stronger monsters in her human form.

Immortality talisman so she never has to worry about injuries ever again, and speed to be quicker for both travel and fights.

But Paused and thought about the condition for taking them and her loneliness from traveling alone away from her clan for so long had an idea took the tiger talisman and using it on her dragon stone split it into two new beings her "daughters" Kei and Lana because it was made from her dragon stone they were basically made from her .

but when they're split like this she loses the dragon form until she combines them back together.

Kei is the quiet and Patient Hunter She took Combustion, invisibility, flight, and heat vision and due to having her mothers experience from her memories of how to use a bow and due to powers of the four talismans synergy gained the ability to control magic energy.

Lana is the wild instincts that likes to fight and play She took animation and Shapeshift that allows her to create fake beasts and bring them to life to fight or play with or become a beast herself because she is so into being a physical fighter she took the healing Talisman and astral Projection so that she can really go wherever she wants Without being stopped or possess things she creates.

Due to all of them being connected to the in some way to the dragon stone all of them have a very strong bond right away with the mother being the alpha of the pack. and when all talismans were taken the strange statue disappears in a portal leaving the three in the temple alone.
