Chapter 6 Three werewolves

After I helped Scott out, all three of us ran deep into the reserve. The darkness and the distance helped us to stay out of sight of the hunters. They knew Derek anyway, so it doesn't matter. But Scott and I should remain unknown for the time being.

At least for now.

"Who was that?" Scott bends over, panting.

"Hunters," Derek says grimly, — "That's why you can't stay alone. You need help."

At that moment, I walked away a little and looked at them. Scott was still out of breath, and Derek still looked in his usual state, that is, all gloomy.

"From you?" Scott looked incredulous.

"Hunters, then... I interjected with a smile, looking in their direction — " By the way, I saw Alison's father there."

Hearing my words, they both turned in my direction. Scott looked even more shocked, and Derek seemed to understand something.

- So the girl you were dancing with was  Argent, Derek said, looking into my eyes.

- Well, yes, I was still smiling.

"H-hey, Jack, how can you smile? Scott intervened. "If I were you, I'd be terrified," he continued.

- Do you think that the fact that her father or she is a hunter herself will change my attitude towards her? I asked, looking at them.

"You'd better be, if you don't want to end up dead," Derek said.

"Are you saying that they hunt indiscriminately?" I added.

"No, I mean, they have their own code, but don't think they'll stick to it," Derek said grimly.

- Personal experience? I asked looking into his eyes.

- My house was burned down. There were even innocent children inside. After hearing this, do you think they won't kill you after all? Derek glared at me angrily.

Hearing all this, Scott was even more terrified.

"I - I was asking, w - how can we trust you, maybe you bit us," Scott said, looking at Derek.

- No, I didn't bite you, there is another one, Alpha. He bit you, " Derek said, calming down a little.

After this remark, Derek came up to Scott and me and grabbed us by the shoulders, forcing us to look at him.

"A bite is a gift, but it's also a curse. You must learn to control it, or you are a danger to everyone around you.

Scott started glaring at him.

"I'm a werewolf," he snaps, " How can this be good?"

- You have something that most people are ready to die for! Derek is suddenly angry. He never understood how people could refuse a bite. He has always been a wolf and without his additional feelings, he would be at a loss. "Your hearing, your eyesight, your strength are all getting better. He cured your asthma, Scott, and will keep you healthy longer."

"I didn't ask for it," Scott said.

Derek pats Scott on the shoulder and says:

"That's why it's called a gift. You, me and Jack, we have to stick together."

When he finished, Derek looked at me.

"Jack, for your own sake, you should stay away from Argent's girlfriend," he said a little grimly.

Hearing all this, I looked at him.

"Hah, hahahaha. I started laughing.

- *Ahem ** ahem*, forgive me for this, I finally calmed down.

- But, are you serious? I said with a serious look, looking straight into his eyes.

- Didn't you hear what I was saying? Or are you so in love that you don't want to stay away from her? One day, you will expose not only yourself, but also us — " Derek growled at me.

- No, I heard everything clearly. I agree that a bite is a gift, and I don't mind sticking together. But don't you dare tell me what to do, I said the last part with a growl and glowing silver eyes.

Scott, who had been listening to our conversation all this time, was silent. But after my last sentence, he began to feel fear, and deciding to look in Derek's direction, Scott could not believe his eyes.

Derek, looking in my direction, was in complete shock, and felt an instinctive fear.

"Your eyes," he said in disbelief,"are a different color."

"And not only that," I said, closing my eyes, and began to turn into a werewolf. First my glowing silver eyes, then the sideburns on my face, then the fangs from my mouth and claws on my hands.

Derek and Scott, who were looking at me, could see not four fangs, as is usually the case with other werewolves, but six fangs. Two fangs at the bottom and four more at the top.

- As you probably already noticed, I have no problems with control. The full moon doesn't affect me, I said in my wolfish state.

Hearing all this, Derek could not understand anything at first. But then it dawned on him why it seemed to him that something was wrong when he first saw Jack. When he was following Scott at the party, he also smelled another werewolf. But this smell seemed a little different to him. But then he didn't pay much attention to it. But now everything began to make sense.

- But how, aren't you an ordinary werewolf? Then why is Scott different? Derek asked me, first looking at me, then at Scott.

- I don't know, I answered completely lying, because I can't say that all this is thanks to God, I thought inwardly.

- And, can you be sure that Scott is ordinary? I asked, looking at Derek.

Hearing me, Derek turned to Scott and decided to remain silent.

Seeing that Derek didn't answer, I decided to ask him about Scott.

"So, how are you going to train Scott?" I asked, looking in Derek's direction.

Hearing me, Scott perked up and began to wait for Derek's answer.

After my question, Derek turned to Scott and began to think about how Peter had taught him once.

"Anger," Derek said, coming to an answer. "Anger makes us stronger, and helps us control ourselves."

After hearing his answer, I decided not to interfere yet and shrugged my shoulders. After that, we all dispersed, and I returned to my home.

Guys, I don't see your "paragraph comments". That is, I see them in the application, but I almost don't use it, because it's not convenient for me. It would be cool if you write inside the comment. Thanks.
