"Jimmy?"

Nora was returning back from work that evening, she darted her eyes lazily and tiredly. She had worked extra time that day, at least that could console her since Jimmy would not even bother to look at her that night.

The driver was driving slowly, just as she has requested, she wasn't in a hurry to get home, not now.

The driver noticed her absent mindedness, "Ma'am, are you okay?"

She didn't hear him, so her gaze was fixed on her side.

"Ma'am? Ma'am?"

She was jolted out of her reverie, she turned to face the driver.

"Yeah?"

"Ma'am, we are already at your destination," he said quietly.

"Where?"

"Your destination ma'am," he pointed to the gates of her house, a huge mansion.

She sighed sadly and nodded, "Uh.. could you drive a little further? I do not want to get down yet, and of course, I will pay you," she gulped.

The driver was a little bit puzzled but he went ahead and did what she asked.

"Thank you," she whispered and rested back on her seat.

The driver knew there was something wrong with her, he squinted his eyes, "Is something wrong ma'am?"

She was a bit surprised by his question but it was obvious anyways, there was something wrong with her.

"I.. I think I am fine," she sighed.

"It is okay if you don't wanna talk, but all I can say is, take it easy, you don't have to overwork yourself, it might do you more harm than good."

"Yeah, I know, I will be fine," she tried to be firm but her voice betrayed her.

"Everything will be fine ma'am," he whispered.

"I wish so," she sighed and bent her head, tears threatening to fall down her face, "Everything is not fine, nothing is fine at all," she sniffed and wiped her face.

The driver looked at her reflection in the mirror concerned, "Oh," he said softly.

"I just wanted his time and everything, but he doesn't even look at me," she was now a crying mess.

"What? Your husband?"

She nodded, "He doesn't love me, he never loved me, I don't know what I did but he seems to hate me a lot," she croaked.

His eyes softened, "Maybe, you could sit and sort it out with him?"

"I have tried, he doesn't seem to listen, he won't listen at all," she sniffed and wiped her eyes.

He sighed and shook his head pitying the lady who was his passenger that night.

'All this rich people always have some kind of problem, I wonder why they make so much money, yet they can't enjoy it in peace,' he shook his head.

"Would you do me a favor?"

"What is that ma'am?"

"I just want someone that will listen to me, I just want a listening ear," she sniffed and wiped her nose again.

He nodded, "That is not a problem, I am ready to listen," he replied.

He was still driving further down the street, not a clue of where he was heading to.

"Thank you," she smiled sadly.

"Ma'am, don't you think we're going too far?"

"She arched her brow and noticed her surroundings, he was already out of her neighborhood, she sighed and rolled her eyes, "I guess, we have to go back," she bit her lips.

He nodded and had to turn around, "Sure ma'am," he said quietly.

She closed her eyes and exhaled, "Well.. my husband.. he.." she was a bit embarrassed but this always weighed her down, "He doesn't love me."

He shook his head, "I'm sorry to hear that ma'am."

"I.. I wish I didn't have to say this.. but.." she closed her eyes and exhaled deeply.

He raised his brows, waiting for what she had to say next.

"He.. hasn't made love to me in a while," she was embarrassed as she said that but it seemed she had no choice.

He wasn't expecting that, he looked a bit embarrassed too but he composed himself and replied, "That.. is not a nice thing though, every husband is supposed to perform his nuptial duty," he cleared his throat.

"I know, but he doesn't want to do it, I don't know why," she rested her head against the seat of the car.

"I'm so sorry to hear that ma'am, it must be so heartbreaking for you," he shook his head feeling somewhat disappointed in her husband that he didn't know.

"You could make your desires known to him though."

"He wouldn't listen to me, there is no way he is gonna listen, I have tried talking to him over and over again but he keeps brushing it off," she was sobbing again.

He shook his head, "Sorry ma'am," he sighed.

She palmed her face and continued sobbing, "I always pretend I'm fine but deep down I'm not and his family doesn't seem to be bothered."

He drew his head back in surprise, "Whoa, that's not nice though, his family doesn't want a heir or something?"

"They don't want grandchildren though, that seems odd," she sniffed and straightened her face.

"Everything will be fine, hopefully," he shrugged.

They were soon back at her Manson, she looked at it with a lot of sadness and got down.

"How much is your pay?" She asked quietly.

He shook his head, "Don't worry about it ma'am," he tried to refuse it.

She brought out a $100 dollar bill, "No, take this please, you did listen to me, I appreciate that, thank you so much," she smiled sadly and left.

He watched her leave and shook his head in pity, "Poor lady, who knows what else she's going through," he shook his head and drove off.

Nora walked to the gates and they automatically opened on it's own accord, she had decided to use a cab that day, she wanted to walk to the house and not drive in.

She walked slowly to the front door, her feet dreading what probably would await her.

She reached the front door and exhaled deeply, she entered the passcode and the door opened.

She dragged herself in, "Another night of living hell," she muttered.

She came to the living room but Jerry was not there.

She creased her brows, he was always either in the living room or he would be in the dining room.

"That's odd," she shrugged and went upstairs.

Reaching there, she heard moans, her eyes widened, "Huh?"

She hurried to their room, the moans grew louder, "No.. it.. can't be," she bit her nails.

She listened to her husband's voice which was all drowned in pleasure, and listened to the other voice, which wasn't sounding right.

She got to the door and opened the door quickly, her jaws dropped as she beheld the sight before her.

"Jimmy?"

He stopped and looked at her, the other guy also looked up.

Used up bottles of Vaseline were flying all around the room.

Her eyes filled with tears, "No."
