Chapter 145: Oil for Drink

Sienna run away from the duke's household ever since she heared that she will marry the young duke. Sienna cannot imagine a life with someone insensitive. She is currently staying with the restaurant that she applied from the other dayp. Sienna needs to work overtime to earn some money for transportation. Sienna is wise enough to understand how well connected the duke's household. Knowing the duchess personality she might have sent someone to search for her. Sienna would have it worst if the Tale Bearers themselves will come after her. Which is impossible since she can see how the duke lack any interest in the romantic angle. Sienna dreamed of marrying someone as well but not with a man who she never thought she would cross her path with. Plus, Hexel had no arteries for any sweet gesture and that would crush her ideal romantic dream.

Sienna heared that Ham's troops are currently on hiding as well. Gladly she is just a minor character in their plots and stages which made her easily conceal her identity. Sienna calculated every penny she had and was giddy to have earned enough.

Hexel heared from Tera that her spies have reported that she applied to a small restaurant in a small village within the Kingdom. Hexel had Kish pray for them with declaration and said.

Kiel, Nevi, Ophir and Ain felt like a supporting character in helping Hexel pursue his bride.

They walked through the small town at midnight. When they spotted a midnight restaurant. Nevi begged Hexel to stop by. When they enter the wooden and plain beanery. Sienna instantly ducked and concealed her self. She crawled toward their kitchen and hid behind the storage of flour. When her manager inquired she begged him to not talk about her which his manager kindly agreed. His chubby and cute manager took over her tasked and serve the meal. Ain inquired and show them a picture of Sienna in her outfit while assisting Tera.

The manager just complied to Sienna's plea and exited their table when a drunk men entered the beanary. He started to asked and tempted every men on the bar to fight him but nobody was willing. He picked up a wooden chair and was about to threw it to the manager but Hexel sliced the chair with his sword. Nevi smacked him on the back of his neck that left him asleep. When the drunkard dozed off, Ophir asked for another serving like nothing happened. The men within the cafe invited them to drink. Ain did not took a sip since he is a minor. Hexel, Kiel and Ophir just tried a sip and get drunk. The men laughed at how they cannot tolerate a alcoholic drink which they never really tasted. Nevi just enjoyed the food served and paid for them.

Hexel started getting lost when he was looking for the comfort room. He stumbled upon the flour storage and peed right in front of Sienna. Sienna almost shouted and covered her eyes. Sienna observed how the young duke walked in a zigzag manner and eventually got knocked out. Ophir started laughing out of nowhere. Kiel became flirty and he started to act like a cassanova to every women within the vicinity. Kiel kissed an old woman's hand. He offered a flower to a girl and danced with the gay who is dressed flauntly. Ain and Nevi felt embarrassed at the display their drunk comrades are doing.

Sienna smelled the alcohol scent coming from the young duke. She gasped whe she realised. She helped the young duke to stand up but he was to heavy. Sienna decided to tie the duke's feet together with the table cloth and pulled him outside the storage. Sienna struggled to pull Hexel's body out of the kitchen toward the main hall and spotted Ophir and Kiel having the time of their life. Nevi and Ain spotted Sienna and rush toward her side. They were shocked to see Hexel had his feet tied together as his face were full of dirt and flour.

"We need to get them out of here. I heared that there is a witch targeting foreigners for her experiment." Sienna whispered.

Ain and Nevi looked at each other then Nevi asked.

"How did you know that Ophir, Kiel and Hexel were targeted?"

Sienna answered them as she obsreved the hall.

"The liquid drops from Hexel's shirt were oily. Alcohol does not tend to be lavish."

Sienna suddenly halted when the team reached the midst of the village as they enter a lounge.

"Why am I helping you?! I need to run away as much as possible."

Sienna realised when they settled. Nevi and Ain begged her to help them. Kiel even flirted at Sienna whenever he got the chance. Ophir woud laugh at everything that it pissed Nevi. While Hexel just kept shouting about the comfort room.

Sienna felt bad but she agreed to help Nevi and Ain who looked more than tired than ever. Nevi had his hair got plucked by Kiel while Ain got showered with Hexel's saliva and pee as they walked thier way toward the lounge. And it does not helped that Ophir would jeer or cackled in laughter. Sienna also had her hair got pulled by Hexel when they were climbing up the rooms. Ophir stated that her hair were like a nest. Kiel kneeled in front of her and recited a poem. Sienna got angry and knocked them out with her fist. That's when the oily drink started to malfunction their systems.
