Ajay didn't know how much time had passed listening to the voice go on and on about the glorious days. He could imagine the grandeur then but still, it became taxing to listen to it after so long.
He was hungry, tired, and irritated.
"System, what's the time now?"
He waited for Dhvani to answer.
No answer.
"System?"
"System?"
"System?"
His inner voice started becoming frantic. There was no response from Dhvani and it was making him feel worried.
"SYSTEM!!!"
He yelled out.
The voice stopped and the statue stopped curiously. The statue came before him and watched him sweat with fear.
Poor Ajay, forgot that his system was not with him now. If only he noticed this phenomenon earlier.
What could he do now except yell?
"What are you saying? Sista? What's this word? What does this mean?"
Ajay wanted to smack the statue now.
"My system, it's not here. How is it possible?"
