Attendant

The Gathering Point of Vine city, wasn't only comprised of people a group together, there are some certain sights that allured people towards the Gathering point. One of it being the sumptuous building of Raging Storm Palace.

A pretty colossal building that was shaped like a rectangle with a hole in the midpoint. There was a circular gap at the centre of the building, leaving an open diameter of space at the top of it, which was covered with long unique iron bars forged by blacksmiths with high class.

The Raging Storm Palace was a foreign settlement, that came to Vine city to sell artifacts, pills, weapons and sometimes even some rare mystical beasts. Auctions are only done in Raging Storm Palace when some queer or powerful materials are found, such was what was happening today.

Lee was like a grain lost in the sea of humans, that treaded towards Raging Storm Palace.

"I wonder if father knows there is an auction today" Lee muttered under the mask as he took steps towards the Raging Storm Palace that was already in his sight.

"Probably it has nothing to do with him" Lee thought has he grew closer to the palace.

......

"Entry to the upper chambers, is one silver!" A sonorous charming voice rang out at the head of the long queue that the crowd had formed at the entrance of the palace.

The expression on the people's face had no visible change, it seemed to have become a norm they had always known.

Though it was quite expensive, the class of people that dared attend the auction weren't mundane.

Lee thinking about it couldn't help but shake his head, one silver coin was enough to get some pills and artifacts in the Gathering Point, but here it was just used as a payment to enter the palace. The same coin that could make the likes of Teofangs ecstatic and part with melancholy for months.

"Entry to the lower chambers cost fifty bronze coins" The same voice rang out again, while the line began to move.

Lee surprisingly wasn't the only one that had a mask on among the crowd, there were quite some few individuals with some sort of coverings on their faces. In a martial world, sometimes your identity needs to be covered when you are about to embark on some stuffs that you might not be able to naturally handle, Lee had a mask on because he tried to protect his identity not necessarily because of the auction, but because he had a place to call on,were as the son of the clan head of the powers of Vine city he shouldn't visit.

In few minutes Lee was standing right in front of the owner of the sonorous voice. It was a fair skinned lady with extremely large bust, and a not too pretty face, she was strapped in a golden yellow garment that forcefully captured the huge breasts.

"This is quite something!" Lee thought as he smiled sheepishly under his mask.

Lee brought out a silver coin from his garment, and handed it over to the lady, who with little or no attention towards Lee received it.

Lee was pretty cautious in making using of the storage ring though he wore it on his finger, it looked like every normal ring you would come across, he had placed some amount of silver coins inside of his robe, though most of his belongings were now in the storage ring. The ring was quite a treasure, he hadn't gotten one from his clan probably because his father hadn't found it necessary for him to have, but in the eyes of the average citizen of Vine city, it was something worthy of becoming a family heirloom.

He couldn't confidently flaunt the ring around at his present condition; he had a mask on, he was at the fourth stage, which was unremarkable to martial power in Vine city, there were some scelerate being that would do anything possible to get the ring off his finger.

"Box 12" The busty lad who Lee supposed to be the attendant of the palace uttered towards Lee as she handed him over a wooden token with a resplendent painting of the number '12' on it.

Lee received it with his eyes fixed on her, but she couldn't notice as Lee's face was covered by a mask.

Lee raised his foot and walked towards the open gates of the palace.

Inside the palace; as expected the circular space was the crux of the auction, it had motionless boxes seated uniformly in the space of the gap in the gigantic palace, the box had the width like that of a square but a height of a rectangle, while the rest where ordinary looking seats, each and every of them were facing an infinitesimal platform that could contain only two humans at max.

"The Raging Storm Palace is very smart, that Lady is quite enough to attract people!" Lee muttered as he searched around for the box labelled with '12'.

Lee was able to spend lavishly as he was, because the silver coins his father gave him to pay Master Yang, which the blacksmith didn't collect from him, and also Lee was quite frugal, so he had saved a lot of coins, does from his father and he also received allowance, though his clan wasn't mighty, they didn't lack some resources like money, and more importantly silver coins compared to gold coins which was the apex of all currency in Vine city paled!

Even as much as Lee had saved, he couldn't boldly say he possessed a gold coin.

"Finally!" Lee sighed as he eventually found the box with the inscription '12', Lee glanced at the box and found an opening just below the knob of the box, where he inserted the wooden token and with a click the door of the box opened ajar.

Lee entered the box and closed it behind, before he fully concentrated on the content of the box.
