Swallowing The Starry Sky~#Fanfic

Year 2044.

Jiangnan City, Zi-an District, People's Hospital.

A little boy about eight years old opened his blurred eyes slowly, as he explored his whereabouts curiously, meanwhile, a burst stream of ethereal energy impacted his small head causing green veins to protrud all across his forehead due to the severe pain.

While gritting his teeth in agony, he was soon distracted by the emergence of new memories instilled inside his head from nowhere.

Luo Feng, China, RR virus, Great Niravana, Five Years War, Warriors, Genetic Cultivation...

Seconds after, the boy sighed in relief, but his eyes shone with disbelief and amazement.

His eyes loamed around for a second.

A white room full of technological designs and architects, a wide white bed, and a grey-black short-haired middle-aged woman was lying beside him with a worn-out expression on her sleepy face.

'Hospital room, disinfectant smell, comfortable bed, and this advanced and sophisticated machinery with blue-white lights all around checking on my body. Am I really not hallucinating?!'

According to his new recieved memories, his own brother, Luo Hua's legs were crushed by a car in an unfortunate accident, almost making an end to his life that hadn't started yet.

Due to this occurence, his mentality almost collapsed, henceforth, he lost consciousness and was brought to the hospital.

'Unbelievable...'

His slightly big movement seems to awake the lady beside him.

"Feng'er!"

The woman exclaimed in surprise, as her exhausted expression faded away and only joy and excitement could be seen, but the boy was very sensitive. He could clearly see that deep down her eyes, endless grief and agony.

"Mother... what about Luo Hua?"

The boy muttered awkwardly, trying not to attract any suspicions, but likely, he was too cautious.

The woman, Gong Xin Lan, took the boy in a tight hug, as her body shuddered in fear while praying to all kind of Gods and Demons for mercy, refusing to give any definite answer.

The boy also hugged his mother ungracefuly, while his mind was in total chaos.

Soon, the doctor appear at the door making an end to their intimate act.

"I'm sorry for interrupting."

The doctor said with a humurous tone, as he watched the warm scene.

Xin Lan hurriedly left the bed, as she made a way to the doctor.

After some routine check-in, there were still no results, so the doctor could only assure the mother that it was just a mental shock and no illness is detected, after all the mystery of the mind is not something the current medical level could pry on.

"Thank you, Doctor."

Xin Lan expressed her gratitude.

"It's alright, you can take him home tomorrow morning."

The doctor who know about this family peril was also quite helpful and kind.

The mother nodded hastily, as she sent the doctor away.

The boy watched all this in trance.

He still recall his previous life very clearly.

His own death was a peaceful one, there were no trucks, no lightning, no heroic act, no survey. Perhaps the only striking thing is his near-death hallucinations.

His own soul traveling with a speed beyond Light, Worm Holes or the legendary White Holes.

Speed beyond cognitions, bringing him outside 'The Universe Bubble', beyond 'The Dimension Cube' in a blink of an eye.

A spiritual journey, where 'Time, Space, Laws and Rules, Matter and Energy, All-Phenomenas' non-existent.

a lot of gibberish informations suddenly appeared in his mind, as his head buzzed, so he could only hurriedly stop himself from digging any further.

He always thought everything was a near-death hallucinations, but the current situation speaks otherwise.

"Feng'er, what's wrong with you?"

A slightly trembling voice brought him out of his reverie.

The boy looked at his frightened mother, and could only smile helplessly.

"Nothing, just a little headache..."

The mother nodded in understanding, as she helped him pushing the quilt, so he could only symbolically close his eyes and pretend to sleep.

'It seems that my 'father' is in another room with my devastated 'brother''

The boy thought inwardly as he closed his eyes.

Surprisingly, a multi-colored hue light attracted his full attention.

'What's this light?'

The moment he thought of this light, the whole dark surroundings sunk into a sea of colors. He later found himself as a spiritual avatar hovering within a boundless kaleidoscope space.

This space wether its width, length or height are beyond any universe known, rather, any colorful dot of light in this space may have surpassed the so-called 'Size Concept', so measures are meaningless.

Inside this space-like domain, he felt a kind of detachement, omnipotence and transcendance. Shortly after, a feedback that came from an unknown place granted him a short and concise explanation.

- Firstly. This space was an external manifestitation of his 'incomprehensible' soul.

'Holy shit?!'

- Secondly. His own soul is not in this plane/dimension at all, but out of reach, meanwhile, he was only an anchor tied by a spiritual thread.

'At least, I won't be afraid of soul-attacks, slavery and illusions.'

Thought Luo Feng in amazement.

- Thirdly, Authority.

His current authority is too low, only one ability, and it has already been activated on its own.

The authority is actually linked to his fleshly body and cultivation realm.

Luo Feng nodded his head in satisfaction.
