It is interesting how circumstances play with people, humans spend most of their life thinking they are entitled to something, anything, even their own lives, forgetting how small they are compared to the world, forgetting how humble their existence is compared to a star, forgetting how fleeting life is.

Unlike most people in this era, he was satisfied with his position although he knew what many others were suffering and knew that the dictators will eventually lead to the downfall of this nation, he was a hypocrite but there was nothing he could do even if he wanted to change the situation.
Closing his eyes Haru felt a sense of calmness wash over him like never before, his mind clear for a moment allowing him to re-consider all his life choices in seconds before letting out a light chuckle that turned into full-blown laughter "If I could do this again, I wouldn't change a thing, hahahahahaha, Hahaahhaahhahahahaha"
In conclusion, from his point of view, he lived a good life, too bad it has to end right now.
Amidst Haru's wholehearted laughter and the Japanese soldiers' screams fire engulfed everything in its path killing whoever came in touch with it.

Haru was dead, he was sure of it it had been about 3 hours since he found himself in this darkness, where he couldn't see, hear, or move, he just assumed it was the natural thing that happens when you die but now he heard a strange sound of language he didn't recognize but could understand coming from...everywhere.

He did not know how he "spoke" yet he didn't care much either, the whole situation is strange.
He didn't question the sound much, he was dead yet he was able to think! Hearing a sound didn't seem that weird, maybe his "freak" ability was activated, who knew for sure?

"Hmm no, I would like to change the question, how can I collect these things?" after knowing he can't ask too many questions he decided to ask some important ones foremost to gain every advantage possible, Haru was a very, very intelligent man, IQ tests didn't exist in his time but if they did he would be around 150-160 showing his brilliant mind, not to mention his intelligence was more inclined towards logical thinking rather than math, physics and such.
{To collect the 22 Divine Orbs you will have to kill the holders of the Orbs and absorb them into yourself becoming stronger to collect more, Each holder begins with 1 Orb except for you as you will begin with 2 to balance the disadvantages you will face, as for the 9 Origins you must reach Sequence 1 at least to try getting them, they are distributed in different parts of the Universe}
'Hmm? As I thought these matters are supernatural!' I thought quietly in the dark while that voice also remained quiet 'I will have to kill other people to get these things, No! I have to change the way I think, they may not be humans in the first place or maybe they are the legendary "Wizards" or lab-made supes like Captain America, perhaps even "Freaks", he also mentioned I am at a disadvantage compared to the others that's why I will be compensated with 2 Divine orbs while the others got only 1 meaning the Orbs themselves contain certain power that will grant us a higher probability of victory' lost in my thoughts I bring my attention to another matter ' I have to be Sequence 1 to try to get the Origins...I do not know what Sequence 1 means, however, I can speculate that looking for the Origins will be harder than for those who hold the Orbs'
