A white cane tapped rhythmically.

Her figure was graceful. Even her coarse clothes could not hide her beauty. Despite her plain-looking face, she was still beautiful and stunning.

How could Qin Zhen bear to see her own daughter being humiliated like this? She immediately stepped forward to grab Xie Ru's white cane. Xie Ru narrowed her eyes slightly and turned her body sideways to avoid Qin Zhen's approach.

With a yelp, Qin Zhen fell on her back.

"Xie Ru, you shameless person. The madam of the Gu family is doing this for you because she thinks highly of you. Don't forget, when your dead parents are gone, I am your guardian now. Who knows? You might have ended up the bride of someone living in the mountains instead."

"How arrogant of you, Second Uncle. If you are asking for help, you should behave like someone who actually wants it. Fifty million or the deal is off."

Fifty million was not a small amount to Xie Zhen. According to what she knew, although Xie Zhen was doing well in Xie Corporation, such a large amount of money would only exist in the hands of the head of the Xie family.
