Chapter 53: Upgrade

Eyes looked at the floating image above Enychta's head for a few seconds until it vanished from sight like it was never there. The Blinding Quartet was oblivious to what just transpired, or so it looked like, in reality, they just ignored everything around them and focused on themselves and their campfire, Enychta was making great smores with marshmallows, different chocolates, and small bite-sized hamburger bread that was used to make Hamburger Smores! Enychta even began to mentally make some notes on ingredients to make small bite-sized hamburgers and other similar things, he loved food and was what you would call a foodie, which he doesn't think is the right title for him but he accepts it.

However, he would take the title of Gluttony Beast any day, that sounds cool and slightly edgy, but he can live with that.

Giving one of the little hamburger-smores to Luke with his fingers, letting the boy lick his fingers that were covered in molten chocolate, that was slowly dripping from his finger down to the ground, making Luke very sad. Pruno was sitting on Enychta's lap as he nuzzled his chin on top of his head and pulled Luke over, they all had a lot of food and they were looking a little bit tired, so he will make the rest. His body suddenly began to grow in size Enychta's clothes decided to cosplay the Doom Guy and began to rip and tear, leaving the now naked monster that was Enychta.

Enychta took his normal Chimera form and lied down on the ground with his belly up, as a cat does, Inviting his family to come and lie down. His black fur and wings were what caught everyone's attention, his wings were scrapping the grass as he laid on top of them, it was slightly uncomfortable but he didn't care at all, simply laying there. The first thing that came to mind when Luke saw the firm that Enychta took was: 'Oh, kitty.' Followed by: 'Oh. BIG Kitty!' His brain cells didn't want to work at all... He was tired and almost falling asleep on the grass, but he successfully laid on top of the black lion's chest, near his black, fluffy mane.

There was enough space for the other four members of the family, and it was clear they were also tired, today was a busy day and they wanted to sleep a little, and with Eny here, they can be comfortable in any place at any time. Pruno followed and laid next to Luke, both of them were quickly swallowed by the thick fur that acted as a blanket, covering their bodies completely, the mane acted as a very fluffy pillow. Next Thalia came with a sleeping Annabeth in her arms and carefully positioned her on top of the black lion before she lied down too, quickly going to sleep because she was very tired...

When they all had laid there, the wings that were on the ground moved and protectively formed a roof above them, completely protecting them from the wind and even rain that Enychta could smell from a distance, even though it cannot rain inside Camp without a God's will, he thinks a God wants to rain right now because he can see the clouds in the sky moving towards them.

He has a feeling it is Zeus, thinking about striking him down, but he is not sure.

The black lion closed his eyes but did not go to sleep, primarily because it didn't need to sleep, but also because it wanted to be on guard and protect everyone if necessary, he doesn't trust them to not attack him when he is "asleep". He pondered if he should become invisible or should he stay visible by constantly moving his snake tail? Regardless he did not need to ponder for much longer as his body began to quickly vanish from sight, becoming completely invisible for every single person who was observing them. It was like, they were there, and suddenly they weren't there anymore.

Chiron was the first one to react to this, he quickly approached the place where the black lion was, and under the curious glances from the still awaken campers, he observed the field. There was no sign that they were even there, even the grass showed no pressure or sign that something was lying on top of it, Chiron would have thought his mind was playing tricks on him if it wasn't for the low growl he heard when tried to take a step forward, followed by a husky, deep voice: "What do you want, centaur?" After that, he watched as in front of him, a gigantic black lion with wings, goat horns, and a snake tail appeared, the lion, however, was comically lying on his back while his wings were protectively shielding the four Demigods sleeping on top of him.

Chiron was almost going to speak something when he saw the same old satyr approach, the angry satyr was nearly shouting when a deep, low growl made him stop. "Don't make any noise." Warned the black lion as his golden eyes stared deeply into the older satyr's eyes, clearly challenging him. "They are sleeping, and if they wake up because of you, I will have satyr for dinner." This left Chiron speechless for a second, not because of the threat itself, but because of the way it was said... Like he had eaten a Satyr before...

They decided to better leave the black lion alone, they could talk tomorrow.

From eating a Dragon, you get the ability to breathe fire, however, this fire burns from within you and always keeps your body warm to touch. Losing control may cause fire to leave your mouth unconsciously.

From upgrading this to [Unique Skill], you can now freely control the flames inside your body, increasing your body temperature at will as well as producing now blue flames, hotter than normal flames.]

[Unique Skill] Monster Mimicry: 01%

From eating various monsters, you receive the ability to mimic some of their physical body parts. You can add these parts to your Night Beast From at will or simply transform into them while your human body, they are considered part of your Dark Chimera's body

From Upgrading this to [Unique Skill], you can now fuse forms to create new ones, the previous forms will be lost until you eat the same monster again to regain that form. Various forms fused may cause an error in the skill, the form created from the fusion may also give you new skills or have new skills that you can only use while partially transformed or fully transformed.

From eating a Calandrius, you got the ability to heal, this ability is hard to be used for it consumes both magical energy and stamina. However, it can cure any disease, heal any wound, and even save the dead if used right. It cannot, however, regenerate lost appendages.

After upgrading this to [Unique Skill], you are now able to regenerate lost members/appendages/organs from someone's body, it is very slow and causes physical and mental pain to the person being healed, leading to a long and painful process, however, once done, a new and healthy appendage/member/organ will be ready to use.
