Chapter 19: Doesn't needs it.

*Metal hitting metal sounds*

"Again! Do it right this time."

The sound of metal hitting metal continued as Eny pressed Luke and Pruno further and further, both were being taught by him how to fight with a. sword, and by being taught I mean fighting against him till they learn how to use it by instinct! They are Demigods, they are naturally born to fight, so it was rather easy for them to swing a sword and kill monsters, however, some Demigods have no affinity towards swords and that was the case for Pruno. The poor pink-haired boy suffered this bullying session with Eny for a week now, they were going from state to state, hunting and killing monsters and learning more about the world, now with Luke by their side they went to states they had already been to so the boy could experience going around the country and having fun.

Not only Like had his fun as Pruno enjoyed showing Luke around the places they had been to, with the use of Mist they could easily fool Mortals so they could get a taxi without paying even though Pruno would make him pay for the ride, to be 'polite'. Eny sometimes wonders how Pruno could be so lawful when Eny was the worse influence on him... Luke grew inseparable from Pruno as they were always together, not that Eny could change because sometimes he would go on a hunting spree alone, leaving Pruno with Grenade and Luke, he admits he is warming up to the boy but he still has his doubts.

Right now they were fighting again, Luke with his Celestial Bronze sword and Pruno with his Celestial Bronze dagger using vines and grass to distract Eny while he used his dagger to strike Eny's body. Luke used his superior speed to dash around Eny and strike very fast on his legs and back, but every time he would not hit it because Eny would always block it with his scorpion tail or long nails that were sharp as his sword. When Pruno would strike with his dagger, Eny would use his razor-sharp wings to block it as well as counter-attack with his feathers, throwing them like arrows. It was a very hard fight as Eny would block every attack they had and counter-attack using his monster body parts, careful to not apply any poison on them so they won't die. Well, if they happen to get poisoned by him, then he would need to keep them alive with Ambrosia and Nectar while searching for the Panacea.

He only saw one Panacea Pill on the store he stole, and he has it on his person, it can cure any illness in Demigods. It also works on mortals albeit it is only temporary because the healed illness always returns, it also damages their body while healing and it can lead to death too, while in Demigod the effect is permanent! It also detoxifies all poisons and every single type of venom. It can also remove the effect of some curses that harns the body while giving the body the nutrients necessary for a whole week of a balanced diet. It's a pretty strong pill! It is also red, completely red.

"Again!" Eny said as he defeated both boys once again, he was not satisfied with their ability, they needed to be better if they wanted to survive in this world and he can't let them die, Pruno because he is his family and Luke because... He owes him, yeah, he owes him a lot and still hasn't paid. Nothing more nothing less. Moving his tail and wings in a clockwise direction, he spun fast and knocked both boys away as his tail and hit them both. They were panting, completely tired. "Okay... We will rest now." Eny forgot they were just kids and that they didn't have as much stamina as he had, he was truly a monster, right? Monster, tch, he shouldn't compare himself with those creatures.

Eny retracted his monster parts and began to drink water, his sweat running down his face, neck, down his chest as he took off his shirt and used it as a fan to blow some air on him, by spinning the shirt. He sighed as the sun heat was growing stronger as the midday was getting closer and he could see the sun almost in the middle of the sky, his body shifted as a second mouth appeared just below his chin where his throat and head connect and a long forky tongue crept out of the mouth, it looked very much like a snake tongue as it was flickering in the air before returning to the mouth.

He hummed a song as his tongue flickered j. and out of the second mouth, his purple eyes looking at the trees in the distance as carefully watched the horizon, ready to fight if necessary as both Luke and Pruno lied on the grass near a tree, resting. Eny thought for a second if he should be wary of Luke as much as he is, he is just a kid now and won't necessarily be possessed by any Titan named Kronos for now at least, or so he thinks. He can't let his guard down, he doesn't know what would change due to his existence so he decided to not rely on his future knowledge and just learn how to fight and trust his family. He needs a bigger family, at least 5 members, but who?

He doesn't trust anyone he meets, how can he expand his family? Adopting any Demigod he sees...? No, that's a terrible idea.

He will just wait. He doesn't need a bigger family now, a bigger family just means more people that can betray him, more people that he will get attached to, more people to make him cry when they're gone.
