Qin Wuyou was informed that Yun Che, Xia Yuanba and Lan Xueruo were going to Blue Wind Profound Palace, and decided to accompany them. In a few days, the four people reached their destination.

He smiled at Murong Yi, "Let's make a bet then. We will duel; if you win I will kowtow and apologize to your cousin, but if I win I will replace you in the Inner Palace as per the rules. How about it?"

Murong Yi smirked and looked at him disdainfully, "Don't think you are a genius simply because you beat that Xiao Luocheng. You are at the 9th level of Nascent Profound realm and are thinking about defeating me? Laughable. Come to the arena if you are not a coward."

Saying this, he went away with a swagger. Yun Che turned to Qin Wuyou and said, "Instructor Qin, if I win this you wouldn't have to use your influence to get me in anymore. If that happens, use that same method to get Yuanba into the Outer Palace instead."

Qin Wuyou was startled. He simply couldn't imagine Yun Che winning this battle. But in the hypothetical scenario he did win... he looked at Xia Yuanba and sighed. Yuanba was only at 6th level Elementary Profound realm, too low.

But if Yun Che really won, that would mean he was a heaven defying genius. If not getting Yuanba into the Outer Palace offended him and he refused to join Blue Wind Imperial Palace, they would be losing an unimaginably valuable talent.

Qin Wuyou nodded and agreed to Yun Che's demand. In the unlikely scenario that he won the duel, he would get Yuanba in through the 'backdoor', to keep a strong relation with him.

Lan Xueruo was feeling guilty since she also understood what exactly had happened, and repeatedly urged Yun Che to be careful. Assuring his safety to his three companions, he went towards the arena.

He explained, "There are two more treasures remaining in this empire. And coming to this Blue Wind Profound Palace was necessary to get to both of them. I will go for my next treasure when I am at 10th level True Profound realm."

And thus Yun Che began to steadily train in his new residence. He obtained a new heavy sword – the heaviest and most powerful sword in the entire Blue Wind Profound Palace, the Overlord's Sword, an Earth Profound weapon. No one was surprised since they knew that he had a powerful heavy sword technique.

Apart from general profound energy cultivation, he focused on Great Way of the Buddha and finally mastered its first stage, which made his physique extremely strong – strong enough to easily wield his new heavy sword – and also improved his regenerative abilities.
