CHAPTER 33:the butterfly protected by a demon

sebastian were gonna stay here for 3 days we can't stay longer because of work. that's ok my children its enough for me to see both of you. anna smiled as she heard those words lying on the bed she looks at the other one remembering that his brother once slept in it. in the morning. there was a huge explosion anna lara and the others ran outside to see what happened anna looked at the direction and there was a huge smoke. sebastian summoned a skeleton horse for all of them reducing his magic to half they went out the forest to see what happened. they arrived at the location there was a town almost completely destroyed the corpses of people lying on the ground they speed up and saw a person in a battle with a armored monster both of them covered in blood. the man looks tired while the monster does not show any kind of exhaustion or emotion. anna looked at the mans face she recognized him. BEROST! she shouted and using her rapier she unleashed a barrage of attacks at the monster piercing its armor it backs off seeing the reinforcements of the man he is battling. knowing he's out numbered he attempted of retreat but was blocked by the others. the monster shrieked so loud it almost destroyed their eardrums. taking advantage of the opportunity the monster killed the three soldiers that was blocking its way. before the monster escaped sebastian threw his great sword in front of the monster stopping it from its track. the monster growls at sebastian. preparing its hands to attack it was suddenly got hit with a blow from its back its body sliced off in half.

haa. haa. haa. its finally over berost said in hapiness. what happened here? duke asked berost. ill tell earlier 3 hours ago that thing entered our town and started killing my people i confronted it but i had no chance of beating it i can only stall to let my people to escape this town. luckily all of you came if you didn't i would've been dead. umm guys where is the monster? lara asked them. all of them looked at the body where it dropped dead there was nothing but a trail of blood they quickly followed it. they saw the monster standing fighting its self. then it said to itself in a demonic voice shut up apathy i will not let you take control stay in the cell!. after it said that it stood still for 10 seconds then it laughed HAHAHAHA! it looked behind him. it saw lara and the others remember this humans i will comeback to kill you all of you outnumber me. including that pest trying to take back control. oh i see why he wants to take back control he wants to protect his sister and friends i see i should do it right now even if i die? no but ill remember your faces. the mobnster then ran into the darkness. anna upon hearing what the monster said she dropped to her knee and started crying. sebastian then carried anna everyone we should head back before it returns. lara nodded and they all folowed sebastian back home.
