"You are my wife" Alex said, smiling at Jane as she looked into his eyes with confusion written all over her face.
"I'm married to you? oh God! my head aches, I can't seem to recall anything. what is going on?" Jane asked Alex for the umpteenth time.
Alex smiled to himself, Alas he'd get Jane right where he wanted her, he'd get Jane and her money and by God nothing would stop him this time, not even Nick of a guy.
"Yes baby, we are married, don't worry it will all come back to you with time" He smiled to himself, by the time she regains her memory he'd be long gone with all her money. Gone without trace. he congratulated himself on his good fortune. Everything was finally falling into place.
"Oh my sweet baby, I heard what happened from your maid Maria, I boarded the next available flight" Nick said as he hurriedly made his way to her beside.
"Who are you?" Jane asked as her confusion climbed to the next level, the one claiming to be her husband just left with the doctor, and another was here calling her baby
"Your fiancé of course, are you OK baby? I need to see..." he stopped midway as her eyes rolled into her head and she fainted.
"What did you say to her?" Alex asked howling angrily as he threw Nick a punch, "Get out of here, just leave before you complicate things further" Alex said wanting to get rid of Nick very fast.
"Who are you to ask me to leave?" Nick asked angrily trying to calm himself,
"Her husband, we got married secretly just before her accident" Alex lied with a smile.
