Making a move

Daisuke took sienna home quickly parking his bike outside her dormicile the pair walking up the little path

through a front garden of a single domicile located on a quiet Sagittarius Avenue in the central metropolitan area

the entire avenue was lined with single domiciles there was a high school and a shopping mall several cafes

and restaurants around the highly populated but still oddly quaint part of the city most dormiciles had gardens

and other decorations around the outside all unique and distinct coming from different planets and cultures across the galaxy

"it's quite the colorful neighborhood," he remarked

sienna smiled "yea its nice, pretty much everyone who lives here

comes from off-world we all find ourselves wanting to have something like a little piece of home with us I guess it shows huh?"

he nodded "it makes for a really interesting place you can see a lot of different cultures just by standing here"

she opened the door to her dormicile

Welcome to my humble abode she joked

as the pair was coming inside and Daisuke was looking around

her living room was just a space with a small holo-screen bolted to the wall and bean bag chair in front of

a coffee table made of a fair-sized storage trunk with a glass vase sitting on top of it

inside the vase was a pretty plant growing in water in the water swam some small pretty fish it was the only adornment in the room

opposite that was her bed a metal frame bunk bolted to the wall with a mattress on it and a small ladder

so she could climb down underneath it was a desk with a computer system for study and

next to it in the corner was a fridge and auto-cooker both also bolted to the wall that served as her kitchen

in the back was the small cubicle bathroom with just a toilet and shower stall and she had a drapes rod bolted

to the wall hung with a curtain as a screen next to that

was where her clothing was hung up that served as her dressing area

she literally had no privacy if she were to have anyone over

everything was all in one room it was just barely enough for one person to live

"I'm so glad you're moving in with us," Daisuke said with feeling truly he didn't want

to tell her that her place was terrible given that she had survived here on her own for three years but it was a tiny hovel

"you don't have to sugar coat anything for my sake" sienna sighed

"um i don't need to pack much as you can see i don't have much to begin with

the most important thing is that storage trunk there"

"the coffee table?" he asked in surprise

"its not just a coffee table," she said

going to it she lifted off the glass vase and set it on the floor and opened the trunk

and it made a soft hissing sound as the contents inside the trunk were sealed for safe keeping

Daisuke looked inside and found leather-bound notebooks he remembered sienna's

journal from the accident he reached in and slowly took one out opening it he found it was filled with her writings

"these are my journals" she explained "I have been writing since before i left Earth 2"

"i started when i was maybe eight or nine years old i think,

i don't throw away any of my journals, I take them with me where ever i go

this storage trunk is filled with journals, they came with me all the way from Earth 2

this is everything i have ever written about my life experiences,

what I saw, how I felt, everything, since I started writing, are all in these journals

nothing else in this dormicile is truly valuable except for this"

"so you're really giving the band all of this amazing material?

your precious life's story to use and make songs with? for us?" he asked stunned

"have you ever heard the saying in for a penny in for pound?" she asked

he shook his head "no!" he breathed

"its an earth thing then I guess," she said "it kinda means if you start something why do it half-heartedly why not go all in, to the very end, it might be more worthwhile that way, you might get

back more than the penny you originally invested if you give it your all do you understand?"

before he could answer there was a loud sound of a horn outside

and sienna got up and opened the door

Daisuke resealed her storage trunk as some robots rolled in

"all i want is the holo-screen the fridge the auto-cooker and the desk computer also load this trunk too please" she instructed

a robot tolled forward and picked up the trunk while the others got busy

unbolting her things from the walls

sienna quickly took down her hung clothes and

Daisuke picked up her vase with the fish from the floor where she had left it

and within thirty minutes everything was completely packed up in the moving truck

sienna carried the vase in her arms hugged to her chest

and Daisuke was giving the driver of the moving truck the address and coordinates of the new house outside

everything felt surreal at how easy it was just making decisions to follow him and become a member of the band

only living for herself not caring about her parents or school anymore

well who else is going to live for you if not you a voice in her head replied if you don't chase

after your crazy dreams while you're young when you get old you'll regret it the most

she walked out of her dormicile closing the door behind her and locks her front door for the last time

she walks down the little pathway to where Daisuke is waiting

"you ride in the truck," he said to her holding the passenger side cab door open for her ill follow behind

she nodded in agreement getting in and soon

they were once more on their way flying back up the flyway, she gazed out the window at the passing scenery below

"They are back!" Zane yelled to the others from the patio outside as he watched moving truck

drive up to the house

let them in the front the door they will have to use the elevator to move sienna's stuff to her room Kanna yelled back

as she and the other members rushed to open the doors,

the truck pulled up outside while Daisuke pulled in behind them on his bike

"That was a quick move less than hour to pack up and get back here," Liam said

"she must of not had much stuff," Melody said

Daisuke helped sienna out of the truck while the robots once more got busy

"We are back," Sienna said with a smile walking in the door

melody hugged her warmly "welcome home baby," she said

the robots unpacked the truck and were soon bringing her stuff in

the entire process went smoothly with the use of the elevator it only took two trips

to move everything and reinstall them in her new room, the fridge and auto cooker

stood against a wall where she could easily get access to them

and her study desk top and holo-screen were set up a space in her room

in such way that she now had a small office in her room the flower vase of fish sat on top of it looking very lovely

her storage trunk was safely stored in her closet where she now hung her clothes but the closet was large

and the amount of clothes she had were so little that closet still looked very bare and empty

"We are going to get you a shit ton of new clothes," Kanna said in dissatisfaction when she saw it

"and she needs shoes, makeup, and hair product too," melody said "we need to plan a major shopping spree"

"with a visit to the stylist too" Kanna added

"I'll schedule it," melody said getting out her phone "we will get her everything done including hair and nails"

"you guys don't have to do all of it for me, it's OK it's way too expensive don't waste your money!" sienna protested

both girls gave her a look that made sienna shrink a little bit

"We are doing it whether you like it or not, " Kanna said

"This cannot stand, you are the songwriter of silver shadows baby, you're rolling with us now we can't have you looking shabby" Melody said

"you are getting a makeover and a style upgrade trust your two big sisters ok sweetheart," Kanna said

this only made sienna feel a little bit scared seeing the light in both their eyes

"Daisuke um a little help?" she cried

"put everything on my card make sure she has a great time," he said giving Kanna his credits card

"thank you Daisuke" she grinned taking it

"what?" sienna cried shocked he was going against her

"get her some nice outfits too Melody" he added

"i wont let you down" she replied smirking

"oh no i am so done for" sienna whined melody and Kanna laughed between themselves

the moving completed Sienna finally sat down to write in her journal before going to bed

what a crazy long night this has been

she thought I have been to a show

flown up and down the flyway three times and i also moved out my crap Dormicile

and into this amazing mansion in the second level district

aaaahhh she loved her new room and most especially her new bed

its softness the fluffy pillows and clean warm sheets

her eyes fell on the bathroom door and she grinned taking a hot steam shower before

bed had been amazing her tub had options for everything from fun bubble baths to aroma therapy massage soaks

marveling at the fact that she couldn't touch the ceiling because it was way higher than her old one

and she could actually run around in her room because of the excess of space she now had

and the best part ever? Daisuke's room was just across the hall from hers

she sighed happily getting to see that gorgeous beast of a boy everyday

she felt her heart flutter as she rolled around in the bed giggling

she grabbed a pillow hugging it tightly with her body
