chapter 1 death

A man dressed in black mourning clothes was standing in front of a gravestone with the name Ame Blake written on it with her birth and death date.

The man looked sad but did not cry . His name is Sam Blake, and he used to work as a special agent under in army. Sam was sad about his mother's death, but he knew he had to move on.He was 25 years old already and had his whole life ahead its just that the only relative he had in this world was now gone, so he felt sad.

'Mom I hope that you find a good place in heaven beside dad even though I do not remember him but from the stories you have told me I know he is good man . And don't worry about me as the money earned for being a special agent for 5 years earned me enough to spend my life if I do not spend it rapidly .goodbye mom' Sam looked at the gravestone one last time before moving .

A month passed Sam had spent most of his time watching movies and TV series . And following a boring routine.

Like everyday Sam had just laid his lunch and was about Sit down to eat it he heard the bell ring

'Was someone going to come or maybe it's the neighbors' thought Sam as he opened the door only to see a courier deliveries man standing outside his house with a big cardboard box in his hand .

"Are you Mr. Sam Blake ?" asked the courier man

"yes "

"oh please sign here "said the man as he tried to give the paper from his left hand while trying to balance the box with his knee.

"Let me help you with that" said Sam as he took the box from the courier guy and put it down on the ground

"thank you "

Sam signed the paper, and the guy left .

Sam brought the box inside

He stared at the box for some time, and closely inspected it for a while.He looked for anything that looked suspicious.

'Well there seems nothing wrong with it so no bomb from an old friend.lets open it after lunch then '

Sam had his lunch and then took a box cutter and open it .He found other boxes inside with numbers and there were two letters on top of them .

Sam open the one that looked new and unlike the other one which was pale in colour .

[ Dear Sam ,

if you are reading this you would know that I have died .I know you are alone and that makes me worried so find someone you can trust and love .As for those ancient looking small wooden boxes they were left by your father, and he had asked me to give it to you after I had died .I want ed write more but ...well I always love you and you were the best part of my life .]

a tear ran down Sam's blue eye as he put the letter on the table next to him and open the second letter.

[dear son ,

this will be my present to you and a challenge that I have created for you.this world has Many things that you may not know about, and I am warning you that the moment you read the next part of the letter your life will change so read it only when you are ready]

Sam flipped the page ignoring the warning

[if you are reading this then I believe that you are mentally prepared .there are world other than the one we live in and those are based on the stories we have made and are popular in our world .And I was what you called unique and was given the power to travel through them due to which I could never meet you .open the box which has number 1 written in it .]

Sam took the box with 1 written on it and tried to open it but did but no matter how much strength used the box showed no signs of opening . Sam tried to look for key hole but other than a thumb like grove on the side of the box he could not find anything else .

'how will this thing open it was better if he had today's technology at that time so he could have locked it with a card or finger pri...nt wait the grove '

Sam put his thumb in the grove and felt a needle poke the thumb and stratelled by it Sam pulled his hand back in a hurry.

ignoring the pain in his hand Sam looked at the contents of the box .there were syringes with  transparent and black liquid and another letter .

[Sam if you feel your life is boring then here is your chance come find me. The 2nd and the 3rd box contain the two Half's of the puzzle board .the pieces of the puzzle have been spread across the different places you will travel  to .these were spread on their own and even I don't know where they are .once you finish the puzzle you will be able to find me .as for the fourth box has the tracker that will show you where the piece is .now let me get to the main part the transparent liquid is like a power related to energy manipulation and it mainly helps you travel through the different world and also gives you other powers but you have to figure that out on your own .as for the black liquid it given you the power of the shadow but it's power in limited in our world .both of these powers need to be explored by you on your own.so I am looking forward to meet you.

Sam put the letter down he did not believe a word that was written in the letter

'ya right as if this is true and me injecting that weird liquid in my body in my dreams .

Sam put the boxes away .

time passed Sam's life grew more and more boring by the day and finally a point came when Sam could not help but imagine about the letter and if it content were true .

Sam had already checked the liquid .His friend who had come to his house to check it had said they were just normal body supplements.
